บท 21: Someone is after her life

Lyra watches them as they walk away, she thought that Lyrien was there to see her, but it turns out that he came to see princess Aurelia.

"Let's go back," Lyra said in a low voice before making her way back to her chamber.

She met Empress Aethera on her way to her chamber, she bowed slightly.

"I was on my way to your chamber, let's go now," Empress Aethera said and she nodded, with an awkward smile.

It was easy for Empress Aethera to notice that something was wrong with her, but he kept quiet until they got to the chamber.

"Mother please have a seat," Lyra said. "Bring the honey tea for Mother," she ordered and Lady Elara went out and brought the tea immediately.

"Lyra, I want to thank you for standing up for Eleanor, it means a lot to me," Empress Aethera said as she held her hand giving her a warm smile.

Lyra bit her lip, to force a smile as tears formed in her eyes. "It is ok Mother."
