"You heard me right the first time" Lexi's tone was harsh saying, "The arrangement that you are asking me to stop was decided by the kings of other tribes. They wanted my brother to become your mate for him to enter the beast city. And this is a penalty for the black wolf tribe for ambushing the snake tribe. I 'CANNOT' stop this even if I try"

Elena was stunned to hear Lexi's resolute words. Now that she thought about it, Lexi was right. Even if Lexi tried to stop, the kings will never listen to her, and in the worst-case scenario, they could punish even her for interfering.
