Lyra and Wendy never expected that they would ever come to blows with each other.

Currently, they were at Lyra's home — and Lyra's parents were at the village square and village gate respectively.

Lyra's mother was at the village square in order to assist in the gathering and distribution of food items to the underground rooms beneath the village.

While her father was with Captain Garciel, organizing the village fighters to secure the village.

Wendy was quite infuriated by Lyra's impudent act of violence, in order to intimidate or bully her into giving up the trinket.

"How dare you?!"

Standing up from the floor in anger, she threw her palm forward as if to slap Lyra.

Lyra, whom had quicker reflexes, saw the assault coming and drew her head backwards to dodge, while sending her leg forward in a smashing motion.

~Thump~

Lyra's foot connected with Wendy's chest as Wendy was sent crashing against the table.
