Liang Qu seized Liu Wenyang by the collar, nearly lifting him off the ground.
In the drizzling rain, Liu Wenyang's nose bled profusely, his eyes wide with anger, blood choking his throat.
He fought the urge to cough, his breathing heavy as if pulling bellows.
Liang Qu stared at this ludicrous, overreaching face and found not a trace of timidity or evasion in Liu Wenyang's eyes.
"It wasn't you?"
Liu Wenyang looked up and sneered, blood clogging his nostrils, muffling his voice.
"A true man's actions are honorable and upright, if I didn't do it, I didn't do it. I came today not expecting to live to return, why would I lie to you?"
Mid-sentence, he suddenly stiffened, baring his teeth as blood mixed with the rain trickled down, his mouth full of crimson.
"Someone's got their eyes on you?"
Liang Qu let go of his arm, withdrew his hand, and slapped Liu Wenyang across the face, leaving half of his cheek bloody red.
"You dare call yourself a true man?"
