บท 230: Conspiracies everywhere

THIRD PERSON'S POV

"Sir, we did the things you told us about. What should we do next?" The subordinate entered the room and saw his leader smoking a cigar while looking out the hotel window.

The man turned around, the long wound mark on his neck from the last time he got into a fight with Alpha Maverick scarring his skin.

It was a painful wound that aches occasionally, reminding him what kind of feud he had with Maverick. 

"What about the attack? Have our people found out who was the man who helped that bitch escape the attacking zones? It was clearly not Maverick's men," The leader took a whiff of his cigar, his brows knitted when his gaze fell on a she-wolf crossing the street. 

"That girl, ask someone to bring her to me," The leader said. 

The subordinate looked at the she-wolf, who looked like she had barely reached legal age. She was standing near the zebra cross with a set of books in her hands.
