(So, what now?)
"Guess we get the hell out of this dump."
Pick up the statue's head, and storing it away, Long Hua turns to the door.
Without any hesitation, Long Hua kicks the door open, and sees—
"Uh?"
A beam of sunlight shines down into the base floor from above, and basking within this sunlight, the weapon spirit—
"Ah this…"
A feeling of amusement appears in Long Hua's heart, as he spreads his divine senses outwards, and begins to examine the magic arrays, to which—
(Mm. Well, well, well… Seems like those people fucked up big time.)
It's unclear how the original carver of this magic array had done it, but the network of magic arrays—that was used to suppress the weapon spirit, it's carved directly into the mountain.
And since the network's vessel, the mountain is currently being sliced through by the Heaven's Blade at this time—
(It's already in a state of disrepair, and with it, there's nothing to hold this thing back anymore.)
Currently, the weapon spirit's dark skeletal body is giving off a pale white shine.
Originally, this weapon spirit should be two and a half meters in height—when it is standing on its hindlegs; however, even while it is currently standing on all fours, its height has already exceeded that number.
"…Master."
Seeing what is happening, Tian Cheng asks—
"Do you plan to do anything about this situation?"
"Now that it's finally freed from its shackles, I can only imagine how much more aggressive it will be. Even if I wanted to deal with it, I'd wait until its tired out first."
*Aaaaaaaaaaannnn!!!!!!* as the weapon spirit raises a ferocious roar, the red spot on its forehead widens in size.
If one looks closely at this red spot, they would be able to see that it is actually an eye, and upon its eye opening fully—
*Kakakakakaka!!!!!!* the collar that is wrapped around the weapon spirit's neck begins to break, while its skeletal body turns pale white—making its one red eye even more evident!
Simultaneously, the body proportions of the weapon spirit begin to increase in scale at an exponential rate, and—
*Boom! Boom!* within the blink of an eye, the weapon spirit manages to press both hands onto the walls of the chamber, as it forcefully tears the chains that are connected to its collar out of their sockets!
*Aaaaaaaaaaannnn!!!!!!* jerking its neck forward, the final chain snaps, and with nothing left to restrain it, the weapon spirit begins to climb upwards!
...…
Outside of the mountain's interior chamber—
*Boom!!!!!* a colossal pillar of red energy blasts through the third mountain from within, and—
"…Uh?"
"…!"
"…!"
Standing a few meters away from the red pillar, which had just barely missed them, the three practitioners of the Ling Yuan family sweat profusely, as they leap backwards in the next instance.
"What the hell?!"
"This place has another 100,000-year-old weapon spirit?!"
*Boom!!! Boom!!! Boom!!! Boom!!!* emerging from the third mountain's opening, and pressing its claws and feet onto the mountain's lips, the pale white weapon spirit—with a single red eye, raises a thunderous roar!
"…"
Seeing the sheer size of this weapon spirit, which is more than 700 meters in height—while standing on all fours, Dan Hong drops the megaphone in his hand.
"…"
Puffing out a final smoke, Yun You drops the cigarette in his hand, and stomps on it.
Despite having a composed look on his face, Yun You can't help but look at Wu Xiao with a light of embarrassment in his eyes, as he remarks—
"Uh, elder sister, you-?"
"I'm only here to spectate."
"But-"
"Only here to spectate."
Receiving this answer—that is said twice, Yun You can only raise a sigh, as he begins to walk towards the Dainsfield tent with the intent of asking them to redirect the Heaven's Blade onto the weapon spirit; however—
*Shoooo!!!* a golden meteor soars through the skies, and in the next instance, the octopus-shaped structure is shot down.
...…
Inside the Dainsfield tent—
"What happened?"
"S-Something shot it down…"
In the end, Yu Ji has made her decision.
"Sorry."
Knowing that she must have caused everyone here a major inconvenience, Yu Ji can only choose to mutter an apology.
The concern of whether anyone had seen her or not was secondary to Yu Ji. Right now, she needed a way to transport Li—who is stuck inside of the iron casket, away from here.
"There!"
"Tch."
Seeing several Dainsfield associates pointing in her direction, and are preparing to charge towards her, Yu Ji clicks her tongue, whereas Ye Chen remarks—
"I can't exactly help you out here, Yu Ji."
"I don't expect you to. Captain, vice-captain, I can only ask that you two do not get in my way."
Towards Yu Ji's request, Li Xue answers—
"Doable."
With his face darkened slightly, Ye Chen answers—
"…Sorry. …Praying for you to survive though."
"Thanks, captain, vice-captain."
...…
"Ah, this is a bit…"
With the weapon taken out of commission, Yun You is at a slight loss as to what to do.
"Hm?"
Looking up at the skies, Yun You sees three individuals—all of whom look as if they had been put through the grinder, judging by the injuries on their bodies.
"Hmm."
Taking out a golden medallion from his storage pouch, Yun You places it near his lips.
The medallion for the most part is round in shape, with the character Líng carved onto its center.
And as Yun You speak into the medallion—
...…
Just as the pale white weapon spirit begins to move—
"Uh?"
The storage pouches of the three Ling Yuan family practitioners tremble, and from within, a medallion that is of the same design as Yun You's flies out.
[One of you three, head back to the family estate, and report this situation to an elder. If that weapon spirit manages to get out of this place, they can expect their harvest for next season to plummet.]
"Ah."
Despite not knowing who the person who had sent them this message is, the three are quick to react, as Qing Ming Yang says—
"Surnamed Lin, you go. Surnamed Xia and I still have things to deal with in this realm."
Despite everything that has happened, Qing Ming Yang hasn't forgotten about the matter with Yao Ying.
"…Un."
Looking at Qing Ming Yang and Xia Ri'er, Lin Yu Heng—who doesn't know the details, nodded his head before grabbing his medallion.
Taking out a teleportation magic talisman, which is designed specifically to exit the Leng Bing Realm with, Lin Yu Heng activates it, and vanishes from sight.
"Surnamed Xia, let's just leave this place."
"…Un."
Unable to talk due to her facial wounds, Xia Ri'er replies with a nod.
...…
*Boom! Boom! Boom!* as pieces of rubble fall from above, Long Hua and Tian Cheng look to the departing figure of the pale white weapon spirit.
"All things considered, this situation is quite laughable really."
Believing this to be none of his business, Long Hua smiles with amusement, as he uses his divine senses to look around the area for anything of interest.
"Hmm."
Looking towards a specific part of the seas, where the waters are currently boiling, Long Hua sees a piece of wreckage.
Upon peering further into the wreckage—
(*-laoban, that's a fallen star ruby!)
"…Hm?"
Towards the questioning look on Long Hua's face, the Tai Xuan Emperor continues to say—
(It's worth 20 pulls!)
"Oh? Then it's mine."
Redirecting his attention back to the shores, Long Hua raises an eye, as he remarks—
"What kind of insanity took over surnamed Yu's head?"
Seeing Yu Ji attempting to fight her way through numerous Dainsfield associates, Long Hua notices the iron casket, to which—
"Uh?"
Blinking his eyes, Long Hua peers into the crude iron casket.
"…Tch."
Scratching the back of his head, Long Hua clicks his tongue.
Storing the 22 bottles of Spirit Extracts into her storage pouch, Tian Cheng asks—
"What shall we do, master?"
"Ah… Surnamed Yu's matter needs to be dealt with first."
"Un."
Hearing this, Tian Cheng changes her current outfit for the black garbs.
Similarly, Long Hua does the same, while remarking—
"Now then, how do we get out of this place without being noticed?"
(I doubt anyone will notice you popping out of this place when all their attention should be focused on that weapon spirit.)
"Good point."
Looking upwards, Long Hua narrows his eyes. Flight is doable, but he wishes to conserve as much spirit Qi as possible, hence—
"We're jumping up there then."
Saying this, Long Hua borrows the falling debris as stepping stones to leap up to the mountain's lips.
A second later, Tian Cheng follows after him.
...…
Back at the shores—
"Yu Ji, surrender yourself!"
As Duanmu Chen knocks an arrow out of the air, Yu Ji replies—
"Shut your trap, old man! Also, who the hell is this surnamed Yu you're talking about?"
Denying her identity, Yu Ji notches another arrow and fires.
Towards the incoming arrow, Duanmu Chen swings his double-bladed glaives, but upon contact—
*Boom!* the arrow explodes—throwing Duanmu Chen backwards.
"…"
Landing onto the ground, blood drips from the wounds, as Duanmu Chen raises his head, and mutters something beneath his breath.
"…!"
As pieces of armor manifest, and rapidly press themselves onto Duanmu Chen's body, Yu Ji's shoulders turn tense.
Dressed in a silver set of thin body armor, which comes with a full-faced helmet, and a hooded black cloak, Duanmu Chen rises to a stand, while remarking—
"Your courage to go against the entirety of Dainsfield to protect your little sister is impressive."
Directing his glaive towards Yu Ji, Duanmu Chen continues to say—
"However, know your limits."
"…!"
As Duanmu Chen closes the gap between them, and swings his glaive, Yu Ji—assisted by her golden left eye, manages to evade.
"Oh?"
Surprised by the fact that Yu Ji had managed to dodge that, Duanmu Chen straightens his back.
"…"
As sweat rolls down her face due to the near-death experience, Yu Ji mutters—
"Divinity. You got anything for me right now?"
Being asked this, Wen Qing is at a slight loss as to how he should reply.
(…Allowing you to see through my divine senses is already putting strains on your left eye. You could end up going blind in that eye due to prolonged use. Should I pour more of my strength into you, there's a chance that you might experience a breakdown.)
"I don't care."
(…)
Thinking for a few moments, Wen Qing replies—
(…Very well.)
As Yu Ji notches an arrow, the arrow transforms into a sword.
The sword itself measures at three feet in length and possesses a double-edged blade. Carved onto its blade are four characters, which read "Seven Emotions, Six Desires."
Drawing the string back, Yu Ji shouts—
"Surnamed Duanmu, final warning, get the hell out of my way!"
"Hmph."
Raising a cold snort, Duanmu Chen takes a step forward, and the moment he does this—
*Pah!!!* Yu Ji releases her hold over the sword's pommel, allowing it to fly.
"Uh…!"
Following the sword's departure from her hand, Yu Ji immediately feels lightheaded, causing her to take a few steps back in an unsteady manner.
"…"
As the sword closes in, Duanmu Chen evades it with ease, and thinking himself to be safe, he continues to charge forth; however—
*Boom!!!!!*
"Huh…?!"
Just as the sword had flown pass him, it detonated into a massive storm of golden sword Qi, which stabs into his back!
"Aaaaahh!"
Following Duanmu Chen's miserable shriek, Yu Ji's arms dangle in a powerless manner, as sweat drenches her clothes.
*Thud!* falling onto his knees, Duanmu Chen trembles, as he uses his glaive to support himself.
"Kuh…! Hack!"
Struggling to stand back up, Duanmu Chen spews out a mouthful of blood. The storm of golden sword Qi had knocked him out of his Weapon Spirit True Body state much to his astonishment. However—
"…"
"…"
"…Dammit."
Approached, and surrounded on all fronts by Dainsfield associates—who all had their Relics out, Yu Ji's expression darkens, as she gasps for air.
