With Qian Lu and Ju-Hui releasing their cultivation bases. The fight had turned quite tense. Knowing that Futian did not hesitate anymore.
"System! Increase stats to the maximum!"
<[ Request accomplished!] >
Following that was a greater change in the aura on all sides. One could explain the situation as two holy fairies fighting against a devil monarch.
Qin Yue at the side fought the fight even more intensely compared to what she had expected. Both Ju-Hui and Qian Lu were in the mid-Spirit Consolidation realm. One of them was enough to take down a person at the Spirit Awakening Realm irrespective of the tier. Alas! The present situation was quite different. Two people, three tiers ahead of Futian couldn't take him down.
They were actually having a hard time while facing him. What did that mean? Futian was already three times stronger than someone in his realm but what could be the reason? Qin Yue frowned as she tried to analyze the situation.
Looking at the situation on stage, Futian had his eyes closed as the other two kept their eyes fixed on him just like a predator would view its prey.
With their auras taking a turn, a black saber appeared in his right hand. Silent continued to make the loudest noise as the tension grew even more apprehensive.
Futian's eyes suddenly opened as a residue image flashed. The two also disappeared from their initial positions.
Clang! Flash!
Qian Lu attacked as her belt sword twisted flexibly into different angles just like a poisonous viper. Her sword art was top-notch and hard to defend against.
With the attack speed that was in motion, one could clearly see that this was a fight between geniuses. Despite the two attacking together, Futian's agility stat helped him with most of the deadly attacks.
Clang! Flash! Another attack came from the side as Ju-Hui attacked with her blue sword targeting Futian's vital point once again. Futian's speed did not disappoint as he managed to fend off against the attack. And yet a silver lining followed in attack forcing Futian to flash away from where he was standing.
Unfortunately, the two didn't let him have any opening to initiate any attack keeping him in a defensive position. Despite the being this fact, the spar remained in a stalemate as the sound of continuous flashing and clashing of weapons continued to resonate in the arena ground.
Clang! Flash!
The images of the three continued to appear at different places in the arena with a continuous clash of weapons. The fight seemed to have grown into a stale phase. None among the two sides seemed to have the upper hand.
After about thirty minutes, a double clang rang as three figures flew apart. Futian flew five meters away while the two flew one and a half meters back. Both sides were panting heavily with beads of sweat on their foreheads.
Ju-Hui and Qian Lu looked at each other as they shared a small nod. Having fought for so long, their spiritual energy was getting used up leaving them with a handful of it.
Futian was no different. The only reason he could fight the two to a stalemate without losing out was because of the purity of his spiritual energy.
The system aided Futian in his cultivation by not only helping him find areas with dense spirit energy concentration but also helping him in purifying it to make it pure. Because of this, Futian has purer Spirit energy compared to other martial artists giving him an overall advantage over them.
" How about we determine the winner in a one-end strike?" Ju-Hui suggested.
" Fine!" Futian replied. He too did not have any more or extra trump cards to use so why not try and just end in one strike?
Conforming that, the last bit of aura the two sides carried was released. This time, Futian took the initiative to attack.
Activating the vanishing skill, his body flashed from where he had been standing. The two girls nodded as one of them vanished leaving behind Qian Lu.
Futian continued with the attack despite seeing the change in the situation. With a great force of impulse, Futian slashed his saber into the air as a beautiful arc followed in pursuit heading for Qian Lu.
In response, Qian Lu raised her sword accompanied by spiritual qi causing it to glow as she defended against the incoming attack.
Boom! Boom!
A loud explosion followed by another occurred that sent Qian Lu flying off the stage while Futian too followed in pursuit. The platform developed cracks at the sides as the dust settled down.
Qin Yu at the side was flabbergasted at the sight before her.The dust slowed and settled as it revealed two bodies in a sorry state outside the arena.
One was a young girl about fifteen with blood at the corners of her mouth looking fragile and weak. Anyone close to her would tell that this was Qian Lu, the sixth disciple of the cottage.
And the other was a young boy about sixteen puking blood with a pale arrogant face as he held onto his sword for support as he knelt on one knee. His lips carried a faint mocking smile with him as he looked at his state. This was none other than Futian.
On the arena platform was a beautiful young girl looking pale with blood stains at the corners of her mouth. Her body stood firm and straight with her blue sword poised in the air as she carried the victor's aura.
Looking at the three, Qin Yue was left speechless as her thoughts went wild.
Was this what they meant by spar? This is clearly a death battle. How can this be called a spar? And are you sure you guys are just at the spirit realm because this is just... Anyways, we better get out of here before anyone finds such a mess.
Her thoughts came to a stop when Futian flashed only to arrive aside Ju-Hui whose sword dropped into Futian's hands. Her body too didn't last long before collapsing into Futian's broad chest.
" Did I lose?" a small sound came from with her as her vision blurred slowly falling into darkness.
" We should get going." Futian said to Qin Yue who nodded slightly before heading towards weak Qian Lu.
