This restaurant had acted as a meeting point for her, her siblings, her cousins, and her friends and acquaintances. Celebrity or not, heiress or not, the most they did was booking a private room out there and enjoying their food. So why...

She tugged at the sleeves of the attendant who was walking before her, lowering her voice into a whisper as she asked,

"Are you sure we are heading in the right direction?"

"I can't hear you, Miss," the attendant blinked back at her in confusion. "You don't have to whisper," he added, as if he could tell that Avery was whispering only so she wouldn't disturb the VVIP customers in here.

"Sorry about that," she cleared her throat, "I was asking if you're sure we are headed in the right direction...or rather, the right room? Room 12?" she repeated.
