บท 74: Dangerous

Clang!

Isaac's hold on Durandal loosened as his knees failed to support his weight. He was out of breath, his muscles were spasming and his heart tightening.

'It hurts… dammit… it feels like my body is being ripped apart!' Isaac groaned and moaned on the ground, writhing in pain.

Blood escaped from his mouth, eyes, nose and ears like a leaking faucet. He was losing so much blood that it was a wonder he was even alive, or where they were coming from.

'My regeneration had already stopped working. My stamina cannot supply me… my mana is drained… but I cannot even begin to gather the energy to start replenishing it.' Isaac was trying his best to catch his breath, trying to stay awake and escape the grasp of the reaper's scythe.

"Durandal… I see, so you're the one who took the sword of Legend?" A raspy voice came from the fire that was beginning to flicker into nothingness.
