"Wait!" I shouted, putting my hands forward and signing them to stop. "Here is a question, do you know what happens when a supercharged electric elemental who couldn't rank up for a long time comes in contact with anything that reacts with electricity? Answer they can create an explosion much bigger than a particle annihilator nuke."
The Mahoons looked at me in confusion, trying to understand what trick I was trying to pull, while Sylvia and Tommy understood my goal.
"Well, bad news everyone!" I shouted at the top of my lungs. "Because I am him, the electric elemental who was unable to rank up for a whole year! So come on then! Shoot me if you dare!"
"You are bluffing," their leader said, although he was doubting if what I had said was true or not, as he could see the sheer confidence in my eyes when I said it out loud.
"So why don't you test that theory then? Why not just risk blowing up half of the Atlantic Ocean and every single living being in that radius? Tell me would you like to take that risk?" I asked, emitting electric currents from my body.
"You... You psychopath..." Their leader grew nervous after seeing the electric currents travelling on my body.
"Oh I am not the psychopath here, you people are the ones who are about to shoot me and kill everyone and everything you love and care about, if I am anything then I would be the victim of this whole ordeal just like the rest of the lives that you put at risk," I answered, smiling happily while walking towards them with my arms open widely. "You want to shoot me? Go ahead! Do it if you want to become the psychopath that would murder thousands of people in a second! What is stopping you now? Your morality? Oh sorry, you never had that in the first place! You, people, took so many lives... Why are you so scared when it's your turn?"
"... What do you want?" The chief asked, sweating profusely due to the tension.
An electric elemental was fast enough to get in the way of his energy blaster no matter how fast it was. If he used physical force against us, he would be at a disadvantage. Mahoons aren't good at hand-to-hand combat unless they reveal their true forms, which they were probably told to keep a secret.
"Let us though, and I mean all of us, even that guy lying on the floor. I will pretend like this interaction never happened. And deliver a message from me to your leader, the real one. I mean, I know a proper genius when I meet one and two geniuses can't coexist long enough on opposite sides for too long," I stated, putting my hands in my pockets. "So? If you will."
Their leader gave them a sign to move out of the way and they followed his order.
"You are playing a dangerous game, Mr. Allen," the Mahoon stated.
"Oh come on, where is the fun in a game with no risks and dangers? Do you really think threats like that would work on me? Have some class, you are dealing with someone who is on a different level than you. Do you think the same taunt will be effective against anyone?" I asked in a sarcastic tone, patting his shoulder. "Let's finish this next time, I hope you won't be shy next time."
The Mahoons moved apart from each other creating a path for us. I walked past them confidently while Sylvia and Tommy followed me while carrying the kid and the bulky man.
"Was this good enough?" I asked, looking ahead.
"Not bad, but you still don't get a vote," Sylvia replied, smiling in her mind.
"Is there something I should know about?" Tommy asked, confused by our conversation.
"I was being stupid, that's all," I answered.
Thinking back, I could have used a different method to gain the Still Force attributes without putting my friends at risk. I am such an idiot.
"Were those vampires disguised as Mahoons?" The kid asked, having his mouth freed from the mini energy barrier that Tommy had put on his mouth.
"Oh? What makes you say that?" I asked, curious about how he could find out something so quickly.
"Mahoons will never attack their higher-ups; they may act arrogant in front of them, but attacking them is a different matter; their behaviour was weird. I have faced a lot of Mahoons in this city, their behaviour doesn't fit in with the others of their race," the kid explained, which satisfied my curiosity. "They also showed a lot of nervousness on the surface, unlike Mahoons, who keep their emotions hidden."
"Oh, you are good... I kinda want to take you under my wing but there might be a better teacher for you. How about this? Since the vampire pirates betrayed you, I will give you a position in the FBI for now, and when you grow up a bit, you can join my squad," I stated, looking in his direction. 'He might become a great villain if he joins the Assassin's Syndicate, I need to bring him back somehow. Should I contact Crowley? I would need a place to summon him. Motel? Small rooms, garages? Too many vehicles, crossroads? Too many people, abandoned warehouse? Where do I find an abandoned warehouse in this port?'
"Am I getting recruited by the FBI right now?" The kid asked, stunned by my words.
"Sort of. He doesn't have much authority in the FBI, but he has a high reputation; you will know what I mean when we get there," Tommy said, adding more lies to my words.
Sylvia just gave out a sigh at our words as if unbothered by our conversation before stating, "We got unlucky this time with their numbers, but at this rate, we might just solve this case in a few days."
"Yeah, if they shot at us all at the same time, one of us might have gotten an injury, we couldn't risk an injury before the battle even begins. We need lots of information on them before an actual confrontation occurs," I replied. "Might take us two days to solve this, who knows?"
Tommy and Sylvia just looked at my back in wonder as if they didn't know what I was about to do while knowing full well about what I was planning to keep their act up in front of the kid.
