"Have you packed everything you need, young master?" Alfred asked.
"Wally has packed everything I need. I took all my lab instruments, nanobots, suit, and... Some emergency food." I answered.
"And?" Alfred asked. "I know you brought some kryptonites as well. However, I hope you don't use them."
"... I will try not to," I answered.
Today was the entrance exam for the Paragon Academy—the place where the story truly began. I do feel a bit nervous. I mean... Who wouldn't? All candidates must showcase most of their abilities in this exam to pass it. I hope I don't mess up the timeline this time. The exam is not only a test of your strength but also your intelligence. There will be two exams, one individual exam and one team exam.
In these years, I have accomplished a lot of things. I finally made my suit, reached C Rank, made a friend on the missions with my uncle, and learned all the skills Alfred could teach me at my current level. So, I am confident that I will pass the solo exam easily. However, I need some luck to get a good team. I can't pass the team exam without teamwork. The maximum speed that I can reach currently is Mach 10. I have a long way to go before I can time travel correctly.

"I am sorry that Master Allen didn't see you off." Alfred looked down.
"It's alright. Aunt Kate woke up from her coma after nearly eleven years. It's natural for him to spend some time with her. Where did John go?" I asked.
CRASH BOOM
A loud crashing noise rang through the house as we saw John lying under tons of bags on the floor.
"Ri-right here, young master," John said, lying under the luggage bags he was carrying.
"How many things did you- never mind... Give me those bags, and Wally will store them," I tried to pick up one of the bags but failed. Those bags were hefty. I couldn't even move them without using my ability.
"What did you put inside these bags?" I asked.
"Cooking utensils, clothes, food, food, and more food," John replied.
"You know that they give free food to the Five Major Families at Paragon, right?" I asked.
"They do?" John tilted his head.
"Yes... but it would help if you kept it. The entrance exam is five days long. We might need some supplies." I reassured him, trying not to ruin his hard work. "We should leave now."
"Yes, you should. Just a reminder before you leave, be good to your friends."
"I don't-"
"Make friends."
"Why-"
"Try not to act cold towards everyone."
"..."
"Now run before you miss the train. Think of it as a part of your training." Alfred smiled, waving towards us as I ran off at Mach 6, carrying John on my back.
SWOOSH CRACKLE
"Be safe, young master."

Train station
--------------
After reaching the train station, we waited for the train meant for the Paragon candidates. However, a burning smell entered our noses.
"YOUNG MASTER, YOUR SHOES ARE BURNING!" John shouted.
I slowly looked down and saw that my shoes, which were supposed to be frictionless, were burning. I quickly tapped on the ground with my foot and managed to get rid of the fire.
"Did they forget to swap my shoes for the frictionless ones?" I asked.
"No, I swapped it yesterday without a mistake," John replied.
'This idiot...' both me and Ryuk slapped our foreheads.
"Why did you make werewolves this stupid?" Ryuk complained. "At this point, he will bring us more trouble than good."
'Trust me, he will be more helpful than most of the members I recruit.' I replied. 'Just put some faith in the little wolf. He might surprise you soon enough.'
"Well... you should stop calling others 'little' because you died when you were around twenty years old." Ryuk reminded me. "The age gap isn't even that big. You may be intelligent, but mentally you are still young. Five years of age gap is nothing."
'Old habits die hard. I watched him grow up with me. He is like a little brother to me.' I replied.
As we were waiting for the train, I felt someone tap on my right shoulder from behind. I turned around to see a girl with blonde hair and blue eyes smiling at me.
Wally slowly crawled down my shoulder and jumped off, hiding behind John. He sneaked one or two glances but didn't reveal his position.
"How did you find me?" I asked.
"You are the only one who carries a spider-like ball-shaped robot on your shoulder like that," Sylvia answered. "Is Wally still afraid of me?"
"She got you there," Ryuk laughed.
"Is Wally still afraid of me?" she asked.
"You broke his arms two times..."
"I was a kid back then! I couldn't control my strength! I am deeply sorry for that..."
'An overpowered kid.' I thought. "Give him some time. He will adjust to it," I reassured her.
In these ten years, I did many co-op missions with the other Major Families and my uncle's friends, who were similarly teaching their younger generation. However, somehow, I managed to keep the timeline intact, or my 'mother' would have appeared by now.
As long as I don't fuck with the timeline, it won't fuck with me.
