That night Atohmma had herself a sound sleep. She needed that time with Nucamma and she took it. This was good for her, as it helped her to realize that she wasn't in the confinement, that she imagined her new role of leadership to be. She woke up early the next morning. She was greeted by her assistants and her very first item on the agenda, was going over to her village.
Frisky came over with the supplies that she requested. He had personally packaged them. Atohmma and two other elves headed over to her village. When Atohmma arrived there, she walked slowly, taking in everything she knew and remembered about her home. She couldn't avoid, walking directly toward her cave. She entered, looked around, everything was just as she left it. She knew it was still hers. She was determined to maintain use of it. It would have been her retreat. Her personal cave away from her new home. She walked over to Venomma's and called out to her. When Venomma came out, she was surprised. She was not yet dressed, so, she quickly reached for her robe and went outside to greet Atohmma and her entourage. Some other natives passed by and they stopped to chat with Atohmma. Venomma was actually happy to see Atohmma. She wanted to discuss some important matters with her. Atohmma had set aside a few hours to be there. She had sufficient time to go around and meet with everyone. She and Venomma sat and spoke.
Atohmma stopped one of the salamander guards, and instructed him to get Orgamma. She wanted to speak to Orgamma and Venomma together, about the plans for the well. In the meantime, she gave Venomma the responsibility to distribute the supplies she brought. She told her to share it throughout the village. It was group packaged, so, she had to share it evenly. Atohmma remembered having baskets in her cave. She told Venomma to get those baskets and put a little of everything they brought for each household. She had to ensure that no one was left out. Atohmma remembered, the old lady by the lake. She said to Venomma, "you must not forget the lady by the lake." Atohmma remembered, that she needed to pay her a personal visit. She must have had her gift waiting for her to collect. It was something she would definitely fit into her schedule.
By the time Orgamma got there, Atohmma had already begun speaking to Venomma about their concerns. Orgamma was relieved to see her because he also had some concerns of his own to discuss. They both filled in Atohmma on all their concerns. Atohmma gave them her word, that she would address all their concerns. She appointed them both, to work closely with the elders. She wanted them to visit her at the village anytime, giving them permission to do so. Atohmma admitted to Venomma in the presence of Orgamma, that she was the one responsible for the disappearance of her blanket years ago. She explained her powers and ability, saying, she found out about it during her transition and tested it. She said she was also responsible for it manifesting at the lake. Venomma understood and was somehow taken aback but she didn't see any reason to be upset about the confession. She appreciated it. Orgamma said, "That is cool stuff. I wish I had such an ability, to wish and think things into being." They all giggled. Venomma said, "It's history. What happened, happened and at least it was found."
Atohmma shared with them her experiences. From the moment she left the village to the day of the coronation. She just had to fill them in. Orgamma told her, he wanted to be there for her, he wished they had been there in her transition, every step of the way. Venomma was amazed. Orgamma decided to help Venomma with the packaging of the items, so they both went to Atohmma's cave to get it done. There they had use of the baskets. Atohmma followed, and then took the opportunity to talk to them both about the well. Atohmma instructed them to begin working on the well. She told them to use the schedule and the designs. They were expected to begin as soon as possible, getting the excavating done first. Atohmma had plans for other projects, so she thought it best, to complete the well, as it would have been useful to the other projects that followed. Venomma said it was a great idea. She believed it was important to have the well and was in full agreement. Orgamma was beginning to get bored with his usual routine, so he was happy about the idea. At least, it would have kept him busy doing what he liked doing. It would have kept him occupied. While they packed and unpacked, they saw fruits that they never saw before. They couldn't resist tasting. Venomma and Orgamma had to ensure everyone got, so they stopped, calculated and then continued. Atohmma stayed a while and then she realized that she could have visited the pasturelands to see Windsong. She and her entourage, said goodbye to Venomma and Orgamma, then they all left.
Over at the pasturelands, Atohmma saw Windsong from a distance. She whistled. Windsong turned, saw three people standing afar off and walked toward them. Standing before them, she wagged her tail at Atohmma. The elves couldn't resist admiring Windsong. The elves loved unicorns, and seeing this one up close, was even more mesmerizing. Atohmma walked closer to Windsong, placed her hands to her face and spoke silently through her mind. Windsong understood everything Atohmma said and replied, "I almost did not recognize you. This look suits you though. I always knew you were special. I will let the others know." Atohmma said, "I will see you soon, and a bit more often as construction of the well is set to begin soon." Windsong accepted, turned and ran off to inform the other unicorns.
When Atohmma returned to her tent, she felt relieved. She had accomplished much today and was satisfied. She needed to get those items off her plate so she could begin to focus on more pressing matters. She had schedules, but it was her intention to unite the villages. She wanted every villager and native to know each other. No one should be estranged and no village unheard of. It was her plan. She was in control. She wanted what was best for everyone. This world belonged to all of them, she thought. She was responsible for the improvement and the well being of all the inhabitants. She has what it takes to get it done and no one would dare try to stop her.
