บท 143: Would Kill Geof

>Tyler's POV<

Kinuha ko yung mga kailangan ko tulad ng baril at bullets. Dannie and I positioned near her father and he looked at us. He already knows the plan. "Ready ka na, Geof?" tanong niya sa kanya habang binabaril niya yung ibang zombies and Geof nodded at him as an answer.

"Ready na po ako." Sabi ni Geof tapos tumango rin yung dad niya bilang sagot.

I looked at Geof. "Are you sure you are ready?" I asked just in case and he gave me a thumbs up.

Binigyan siya ni Dannie ng walkie-talkie and he looked at her. "Para saan ito?" tanong niya kay Dannie tapos nilagay ni Dannie ang sarili niyang walkie-talkie sa sahig, malapit sa tatay niya.

"Para pag nasa baba ka na, masasabi namin ang mga changes sa plan if ever magbabago ito." Sagot niya at nginitian niya si Geof. "Mag ingat ka sa baba. Kakausapin ka namin if ever there's an emergency." Sabi pa niya and Geof smiled back at her and he tied the walkie-talkie in a form of a neck wear and wore it like a necklace.

"Salamat." He said as thanks and he stood up and we escorted him to the door going down the house. He will leave this place using the back door, to the main gate, and distract the zombies for him to lead them to a distant place for us to throw the grenade.

I looked at him seriously. "Ingat ka, Geof. When the things get out of hand, it's good to retreat." Sabi ko sa kanya but he smirked at me.

"Hindi fail ang plano. Trust me! Ako pa." he just said with his smirk and we smiled at him back. We trust his words. Alam kong magiging successful ang plano.

We shook each other's hands as our temporary goodbye and nodded at each other as he opened the door back to the house and dashed downwards to go to the main gate of the house by going through the back gate.

Tumakbo kami ni Dannie pabalik sa tabi ng tatay niya at agad kong kinuha ang walkie-talkie sa tabi niya. "Geof, get to your position. Wave us a signal para alam na namin kung malapit ka na." sabi ko sa kaya and I heard a feed back from the walkie-talkie.

"Malapit na ako." Sagot ni Geof sa amin and true enough, we saw him near the main gate and waved at us. He is not yet visible to the zombies but it made us nervous as well. What if one caught him? The gate will be opened.

I waved back. Ayaw kong gumawa ng sound kasi pag ginamit ko yung walkie-talkie, mapapansin si Geof. Plano niyang umakyat ng harang sa tabi ng gate. Pag nasa kabilang side na siya, that's when I'm free to use the walkie-talkie since zombies are already chasing him.

Tumaas si Geof sa taas ng wall malapit sa gate at nakita siya ng ibang zombies. Hinawakan niya agad ng mahigpit ang sword niya at bumaba siya at agad tumakbo at hinahabol na siya ng maraming zombies. It's like… 1 whole class with 50 students against one.

Nagbabaril na kami ng zombies nina Dannie. Inuuna namin yung mga zombies na malapit kay Geof. Pero nag pa-panic ako because one wrong hit…

Would kill Geof.

Narinig namin siya over the walkie-talkie. "You better make this quick! 'Wag niyo akong patayin!" sabi niya at binabaril parin namin yung zombies. "Kahit 'wag na sa malapit sa akin. Ako na papatay sa kanila. Sa malalayong zombies na lang kayo bumaril. Ayaw kong mamatay ng maaga pag ako natamaan niyo." He added and I slightly laughed.

"Roger." I only answered and we started to kill zombies from his left and right. With one slash, he looks at the opposite direction and slashes it as he moves before he continues on the road.

Mabilis na siyang tumakbo at hinahabol parin siya ng zombies. There's something different about these zombies, though. Mas mabilis sila kaysa sa mga ordinary zombies na nakakalaban namin. I realized that as we go further for us to reach Manila, the difficulty in handling zombies is getting difficult. Tulad ng nasa games na habang nagle-level up ka, habang lumalakas ka, hindi mo rin pala alam na ay mas malakas din pala sa'yo.

Lumalakas din ang kalaban mo.
