Rosa frowned, but she let the man talk to her.
“I think I am overprotective of you in these cases.” Darce’s hand patted the back of her head.
“Yes, you have every right to be angry with me, but my dear, shall I remind you the time you were announced dead or the time you were captured.” He raised his hand to rub the scar on her face.
“This time, even though I know you are strong enough to handle things like this, I still want extra precaution,” Rosa growled every time he spoke, but in the end, she only pouted.
“I feel like you treat me like a baby. I am no baby Darce.” Rosa grumbled and folded her hands, making sure she was not looking at him.
“You are acting like a stubborn one right now.” Darce chuckled and kissed the top of her head.
“You are no longer alone, Rosa; trust in the team. Besides, I can not believe you took on that giant black knight all by yourself.” Darce frowned this time as he tapped the top of her head, trying to find a way to look into her eyes.
