### Chapter 21: Reversal of Poles
Urgot, the formidable executioner of Noxus, embodies the philosophy that strength is truth. He wields his giant executioner's axe to harvest the lives of the weak. His purpose is to embody the ideology of Noxus, and his violent and frenzied demeanor has been honed through years of experience. His glory grows with the heap of corpses left in his wake, and his authority ensures the discipline of countless battalions.
As the war with Demacia ends, the corruption and incompetence of Noxus's rulers start to manifest. Swain, having been restricted in every move during the war with Demacia, seizes the lull in conflict to sweep away his political adversaries one by one. Urgot becomes a casualty of this internal struggle. He receives orders to go to Zaun to investigate a conspiracy against Noxus. Meanwhile, Swain has already planted Baron Takeda Saejima as a mole, ensuring that Urgot would be entrapped in Zaun with no return.
It is either fortune or misfortune, but Urgot's disguised merchant ship barely begins its investigation of Zaun when it encounters shellfire. Jinx spots the merchant ship approaching Sun Gate from afar and immediately takes up her modified Fishbones to unleash a barrage of missiles in warning.
Under her skillful control, every missile hits its intended target, whether it's the sails or the cabin. Urgot, resting in the captain's quarters, is caught off guard by the ambush near Sun Gate. The missile explosions erupt around him, and even a seasoned warrior like him feels the chilling threat of death. He can only roll on the ground to protect his head, but the explosion still injures a significant portion of his body. Despite his tough skin, he furiously orders, "We've been discovered! Fight back!"
The small merchant ship carries over twenty soldiers, and despite the explosion injuring three of them, they quickly organize a counterattack.
"Hey, caliber is truth!" Jinx yells, repeating the trash talk Phil taught her as she excitedly runs back. A typical merchant ship would surrender after losing its mast and taking several shells. Jinx assumes this ship would be no different, unaware that it houses battle-hardened Noxian soldiers.
"Watch out!" a red-haired boy tackles Jinx, taking several bullets in the back, one unfortunately piercing his heart. This boy was taken in by Phil from the slums. When Phil first found him, he was beside his deceased parents, victims of mutation. Seeing him, Phil was moved by compassion and decided to take him in. Although he lacked talent in research, he remained loyal, sticking close to Phil for three years.
Phil had specifically instructed him to ensure Jinx's safety no matter what, and he had agreed without hesitation. Now, he paid with his life for being taken in years ago. Seeing the red-haired boy dying in her arms, Jinx felt a pang of sorrow.
Her vision blurred, and in her eyes, the boy's silhouette overlapped with Vi's, her sister. It was as if Vi herself had come to save her. Agitated, she tugged on her hair and let out an enraged scream. Grabbing her light machine gun, she unleashed a wild barrage as if she were an unstoppable force.
Urgot's soldiers were pinned down under her suppressive fire, unable to lift their heads. However, Jinx was alone. In the gap when she reloaded, a bullet struck her shoulder.
"Are you crazy? Do you have a death wish?" Sevika pulled her down behind cover. Facing the elite enemy soldiers and their advanced weapons, Sevika didn't want to lose too much on them. But Jinx didn't care, pressing her gun against Sevika's forehead. "Shut up, you have no right to boss me around! Got it?"
Saying this, she took out the electromagnetic gun. She remembered how Phil had looked utterly shocked when it was first developed. With his improvements, a startling power could be unleashed by placing a coin in the electromagnetic coil and firing it at maximum power.
Jinx placed the coin into the electromagnetic gun and affixed the Hextech gem Phil had given her before leaving, using it as a power source. With her eyes on the distant ship, she gently pulled the trigger. Immense energy channeled through the coin, tearing the distant ship into two. But the recoil caused Jinx's wounds to bleed again. Her remaining sanity urged her to carefully remove the Hextech gem and store it in a box. Kneeling on the ground with her hands on her head, she saw faces in the gem—Mylo, Claggor, Vander. And finally, she saw Vi, trapped in a desperate circumstance. It might have been sisterly intuition, but this vision deeply unsettled Jinx. She stood up, clutching her forehead and said, "Return to Zaun." Yet, no one responded. The crewmembers, victorious in battle, looked at her as if she were a monster instead of feeling joyous.
"Did you not understand? I said, return to Zaun!" Jinx yelled, sweeping her machine gun around, injuring three of her own. They resented Jinx but dared not retaliate. "I don't get why the boss lets this lunatic command us." "She's a menace, shooting at her own people? Doesn't know friend from foe." "Even William died because of her." The murmurs carried to Jinx on the wind, reaching her ears. Jinx retreated to her cabin, looking at the blood on her hands. It should have been her lying there, not them. Curling up, she buried her head in her knees, crying silently. No one knew the state she was in, except perhaps Silco and Phil. If Phil were there, he would surely realize that Jinx was entering the depressive phase of her bipolar disorder, followed by her manic episodes.
----- Zaun, the Undercity -----
Phil's battle with Vi hadn't ended yet, but the outcome was increasingly clear. He drew a long knife from his back, continuously slashing at Vi. Even with her agility, Vi couldn't dodge every strike. Now she was scarred once again, though not fatally. However, her clothes were soaked with blood, dripping onto the ground. "Vi!" Caitlyn watched anxiously, helpless, as she was being held back by Silco and his men. Observing from the shadows, the masked boy could no longer sit still. As Phil's knife aimed for Vi's head, he dashed forward on his skateboard, blocking Phil's blade with a steel pipe. Phil frowned slightly at the unexpected intervention. This was supposed to be the debut of his powerful armor, and it had to end in victory. He activated the full capabilities of his armor, causing both the armor and his blade to emit a blinding white light. The blade cut through the steel pipe like tofu, slicing directly towards Vi. "Damn it," the masked boy cursed under his breath. "Reversal of Poles!"
