บท 87: Ch 88: The Night of chase

It was hard to go through the rest of the day in Lisa's condition. She felt like she would slip and fall every few seconds.

But she never fell, and her body kept moving until the day ended. 

Lisa felt exhausted and collapsed as soon as the last customer headed out. She was even more tired than she had thought at the start of her day.

"You look too tired to head back up on your own. Should I help you out? I can carry you to your apartment if you want me to."

Nick asked as he looked at Lisa's exhausted expression.

Lisa would have protested usually, but she felt too lazy to do anything but hold her hand out and allow Nick to carry her along. 

It surprised even Nick to see Lisa behaving like this, but he decided to help her out and drag her upstairs. 

There was silence as Emma followed the pair.

For the first time in forever, the pair was not fighting but working with each other.
