Aurora touched the necklace to hide it away from the woman's prying eyes. She realized the man who had stared at her was Vincent and Victor's uncle. The woman with him had to be his wife. "Vincent gave it to me," she answered.

"Graham, how is he just giving that away to anyone? They're not married therefore she should not be wearing it. It would do better in my hands for safekeeping," Cecilia took it upon herself to try and take the necklace from Aurora but Victor stopped her. "Don't tell me you agree with your brother that she is allowed to wear it?"
