In no time, Aurora had fallen asleep on Vincent's back. He knew she was tired but Aurora kept denying it until her words became silent and her breathing slowed down. Why was it so hard for her to admit she was tired and why did she have to fight the sleep? Vincent only saw small children doing this. He chuckled because Aurora's stubbornness was still there.

Vincent returned to his home after an hour's walk with Aurora asleep on his back. Normally, it would've taken him less time but he didn't want to wake her as she needed the rest. He entered the large gates meant to keep unwanted pests outside of the community. Particularly vampires and humans who hunted werewolves.
