The carriage with Dr. Kitchner pulled into the grounds of Dragonwood, and the plump, short man descended to be met by Carrick, the butler. "How is the young miss today?" Asked Dr. Kitchner.
"You mean Contessa Rose? The Lady has been dizzy and nauseated to the point of retching most of the night. She can't stand on her own and falls if she tries." Explained the butler.
"Oh...! No, no, that will not do. This is not good at all. Take me to see her directly, please."
The doctor followed Carrick when the men were both surprised by the sound of hooves loudly pounding the dirt and the whinny of a war horse coming up the carriage path. It was Lord Alexsander.
"Good afternoon. Dante is expecting me." Kane dismounted from his steed and handed the reins to the stable boy, who had seen Kane riding up the path.
The three men entered Dragonwood and could hear a boisterous argument on the second floor, the sound of dishes smashing, and Dante yelling at Rose.
