บท 148: Chapter 149 Alpha & The Wolf

Beth's POV

　　I slowed down and tried to meet up with Aaron without spooking Queen Wolf. Aaron heard my call and exchanged glances with me, and we both nodded. Then at the same time, we approached from the opposite direction, trying to surround Queen Wolf and talk to her.

　　However, she was very keen. In the blink of an eye, Queen Wolf detected what we were up to. She arched her spine, bared her sharp fangs at us, and even growled to warn us to stay away.

　　"We just want to talk to you," I said to her in a friendly way.

　　"We come in peace. I am Alpha Aaron of the Blue Moon Pack. We want to..." Aaron tried to explain to her, but before he could finish, Queen Wolf ran away quickly.

　　The wind blew Queen Wolf's hair. She looked like a silver bolt of lightning.

　　I summoned the vines to stop her, but they couldn't affect her whatsoever.
