Lucia settled on a fancy chair inside the restaurant. She was dead tired but tried her best to be excited at their dinner.
"What would you like to have?" Daniel asked with a grin. He browsed on the menu, but it wasn't his liking.
"Hmm, I'll just have something simple. Perhaps a Carbonara with a pair of breadsticks on the side and a glass of orange juice," Lucia replied and placed the menu on the table. She looked around and admired the chandeliers hanging on the ceiling.
"Alright, I'll have some steak and wine," Daniel stated after picking.
The waiter came to them after a few minutes and Daniel repeated their orders without letting Lucia speak.
"So, how are you?" Daniel asked while waiting for their food.
"I'm good, how about you?" Lucia asked as a follow-up.
"I am good as well. A little bit busy, but I can manage," Daniel replied with a chuckle.
"Art is our chief means of breaking bread with the dead."
