Rosina placed her mother in the bed and tucked her with the tattered blanket to keep her warm. She looked at Natale's face for a couple of seconds before going outside since the door was left unlocked.
Rosina went out of the door and sniffed the air to know how many wolves were currently inside the pack house. She wanted to stay lowkey for a few days before she made her move and thanked Rico; she knew her first step.
'I need to read that letter,' Rosina thought and walked a couple of steps before arriving at the door. No one was in the living room since they were all coped up outside preparing dinner around the bonfire.
"I think I slept too long," Rosina whispered, indicating the amount of time she was unconscious. She wanted to know who found her in the forest and brought her back to the Palecrest pack.
"You're finally awake," a voice said behind Rosina.
"Look, I'm not saying that you're old, but if you were milk, I'd sniff you first."
