บท 485: The Cup of Tea

Lucia hurried out of the restaurant in distress, her stomach churning violently in response to Joseph's shocking revelation. She staggered away, her steps unsteady as she attempted to put as much distance as possible between herself and the unsettling truth she had just learned. 

"Where are you going?" Joseph called out, rushing after Lucia in confusion. His steps halted abruptly as he witnessed Lucia retching on the road. 

"Don't… come… near me," Lucia managed to mumble weakly, gesturing for Joseph to stay away as she struggled to regain her composure. 

The memories of the harrowing scene involving the corpses resurfaced relentlessly in Lucia's mind, tormenting her like a broken record. The realization made her physically ill as she pieced together the dreadful truth.
