Before executing his plan, Ye Chen decided to explore a forgotten function he had obtained recently.
"System, use Random Advanced function card" he commanded mentally.
Advanced Function obtained: Elemental Stone Conversion
"!!!" Ye Chen's eyes widened in surprise, during his time at the Empire, he realized the value of Elemental Stone. A single Tier 1 Elemental Stone of the basic elements will cost you a thousand or more Sky-Tiered Spirit stones. Even having this much Spirit stones and buying one is a hard thing unless you have the connections and status.
The interface displayed a series of information about it's function.
Notes: Exposure to certain elements can turn a regular stone into an Elemental one which then depends on what type of Element the stone is exposed to.
"Great, with these, I'll be getting those affinities up in no time." Ye Chen smiled then resumed his plans to repay the Empire.
At night in his bed, Ye Chen decided to start first step tomorrow morning.
For days straight, Ye Chen frequently ventures outside the Empire, gathering stones and other materials. He placed all of them into his space ring. He also informed about his departure once he reached the Heavenly Lord realm.
Ye Wenling, his sister, nodded sadly at the news. The thought of her brother leaving made her feel lonely, but Ye Chen reassured her with a plan. He proposed brining their family into the Empire. With his, abilities, he could travel back and forth alone in less than a day.
In the dining area, while eating, Ye Chen proposed a plan. "I want to move the main branch of the Ye Family into the Empire," Ye Chen explained. "The resources and opportunities here are far greater than in the Dynasty. It's the best way to ensure our family's prosperity."
The Ye Xinyue and Zhu Yongzheng nodded, while Ye Wenling's eyes lit up then shouted. "Great! So when are you gonna bring them brother?" she looked at him expectantly.
While ruffling her hair, he replied. "Tomorrow morning, I'll set off then pick them up. But before I do that, I'll have to inform uncle first."
"Um." Ye Wenling nodded, knowing that her uncle would surely agree to his brother's request.
And so he did. He approached the King with his plan, outlining his intentions to relocate the main branch of the Ye Family into the Empire.
The King listened attentively and he nodded in agreement. "Sure, you didn't have to my permission for that. Ye Chen, I will ensure that everything is prepared for their arrival. You also don't have to worry about them. Just let them establish business and such inside the Empire. If those families tried to do something, they'll have to face me first." he said, patting his chest with confidence.
"Thank you, uncle." Ye Chen said, "I will not forget the kindness and support the Empire has shown me."
...
The next morning, Ye Chen set out fairly early. With his enhance abilities in wind and space, he traveled swiftly through the vast landscapes. His wind affinity allowed him to glide effortlessly over mountains and dense forests, while his space manipulation enabled him to travel great distances in the blink of an eye.
...
By the time the sun was high in the sky, he had already covered a significant distance. The familiar scenery of his homeland came into view. Despite the incredible power and opportunities he had found in the Empire, he has always remembered where his roots lay.
As the afternoon sun cast long shadows, Ye Chen arrived at their residence. The sight of the familiar buildings and the bustling activity of his family members brought a smile to his face. He approached the entrance, greeted warmly by the guards who recognized him immediately.
"Young master Ye Chen!" one of the guards exclaimed, bowing respectfully.
Ye Chen nodded in acknowledgement and proceeded inside. He found his father, Ye Jianguo, overseeing some daily tasks. When he saw him, his eyes lit up with joy.
"Chen'er, you're back!" he exclaimed.
"Father," Ye Chen said. "I have so much to tell you. Let's gather everyone.
...
Soon, the whole Ye Family had assembled. Ye Chen shared the news of his recent achievements and his plant to relocate them to the Empire. He explained the opportunities and resources available there, he emphasized how it would greatly benefit their cultivation and the family's prosperity.
The family listened intently, their expression greatly showed excitement. They trusted Ye Chen's judgment, but then again, thought of the possibility that they might move someone's interest and bring disaster to the family.
"I know it's a big change," Ye Chen said, "But trust me, the Empire offered resources and protection to our family."
Ye Jianguo nodded, his eyes filled with pride. "We trust you, Chen'er. We will follow your lead.
...
As night fell, Ye Chen gathered his uncles and aunts in a quiet room within their residence.
"Uncles, aunts." Ye Chen began holding up several, smooth jade in his hands that glowed faintly in the dim light. "I understand your concerns about my plans. While I have no doubt about the Empire's protection to our family, I also want to make sure that you are also safe and secure, no matter what."
He handed each of them a stone, explaining its purpose. "These stones contains my avatar. Upon activation, a clone of mine with 50% of my strength will appear to protect you. Additionally, I will also be notified immediately once the stone is activated, allowing me to intervene if it is necessary."
Ye Jianguo examined the stone closely, feeling the energy pulsating within it. "Chen, this is remarkable. With this, when we leave, we can rest assure that nothing would happen."
Ye Chen nodded. "Indeed, we must be prepared for any possibility, especially most of our strong cultivators are moving to the Empire. These stones will help protect our branch here in the Dynasty."
His aunts and uncles expressed their attitude, their worries visibly eased by the reassurance.
...
Originally, he planned for everyone to set off tomorrow. But seeing that everyone's still busy, he gave them more time since he's not in a rush whatsoever at all.
Before departing, Ye Chen spent quality time with his family, ensuring they were well-prepared for the transition. He also took time to visit significant locations within their ancestral lands, paying homage to their roots and ancestors of the family.
...
The next day, as dawn broke, the family gathered, ready for the journey ahead. Ye Chen stood before them, his expression was calm and confident. With a wave of his hand, he conjured a massive circular stone platform, large enough to accommodate everyone.
"Everyone, please step onto the platform," Ye Chen instructed. The family members did as he said with curiosity and excitement in their faces.
...
Once everyone was aboard, Ye Chen activated his aura, creating a protective shield that enveloped the entire platform. "Hold on tight," he said, his voice carrying a note of reassurance. With a burst of power, the platform began to rise into the air.
The platform moved at an incredible speed, cutting through the sky like a shooting star. Thankfully, the shield around them ensured that no one was affected by the rapid movement of the platform. Below them, the landscaped blurred into a mix of colors as they travelled across vast areas of lands.
Despite the speed, Ye Chen remained focused, he precisely controlled the platform and shield intently. He knew that using his space skills to create a rift large enough for the platform was not possible, so he relied on his wind skills instead to facilitate their journey.
As night fell, the lights of the Empire appeared on the horizon, shimmering like a constellation of stars. The platform began to descend, and Ye Chen gradually reduced their speed to ensure a smooth landing.
At the Star Empire,
The platform touched down gently in a spacious courtyard prepared for their arrival. The King and several high-ranking officials were there to greet them, their expressions reflecting a mix of awe and respect.
Ye Chen deactivated the shield and stepped forward, bowing slightly. "Thank you, Uncle. We are grateful for your hospitality and support to our family."
The King nodded, then turned to address the rest of the family. "You are all welcome here. Please, make yourselves at home."
The days that followed were filled with settling into their new surroundings. The family quickly adjusted to their new home, appreciating the resources and opportunities available in the Empire.
...
One evening, Ye Chen sat with his mother, Ye Xinyue, in the courtyard. The moon casted a gentle glow over the surroundings, and a soft breeze rustled the leaves of the ancient trees.
"Chen'er," Ye Xinyue began, "I have been thinking. The Empire has granted us a vast land, tens of thousands of miles in diameter. I believe we should transform it into a Spiritual Garden, much like we had in the Dynasty."
Ye Chen nodded thoughtfully. "That is a great idea, Mother. With the resources here and my cultivation technique, proceeding with the plan would be possible, it can also be a huge income for our family."
