บท 152: Obsidian Mirror

On the parchment was a single sentence: "Travel to the Obsidian Mirror and retrieve the Shard of Echoes."

"Obsidian Mirror?" Takeuchi murmured, puzzled by its meaning.

As he pondered, Averis's voice broke through the classroom, commanding everyone's attention.

"We will traverse the Obsidian Mirror shortly, so prepare yourselves," she announced.

With a flick of her finger, several shadow slaves began moving what appeared to be a large mirror into the center of the room.

"The Obsidian Mirror," Averis began, "is a mysterious artifact. No one knows who discovered it first, but stepping into it leads to a world entirely different from ours. The nature of the Obsidian World remains largely unknown, which is why magi like me are working to uncover its secrets."
