บท 107: Assassins

The situation began to make more sense as Asaka's thoughts drifted back to yesterday.

The door to Melody's room stood ajar, an ominous void beyond. Asaka couldn't predict the horrors awaiting her inside.

One thing was certain.

It was dark inside.

Confusion and fear stirred within her.

What about Melody?... Asaka wondered, her anxiety growing.

Steeling herself, she stepped inside.

She had recently gasped her meditation completely, swiftly advancing to pupil level 4.

Confronting the unknown didn't faze her.

But as she peered into the room, the darkness seemed to gaze back, sending chills down her spine.

Carefully, step by step, she moved forward, her senses on high alert.

Whatever was happening, it couldn't be good... Asaka thought.

She ventured deeper and found her.

Melody stood in the living room, the fireplace casting a dim, flickering light.

In her hand, she held a sword, its sword dripping with blood, some splash of blood staining her clothes.
