“What a cute party. If it’s something I participate in, they probably can’t hold a small party like this. There’s no peace to find in those at all, so this is much better… I like it.”

As soon as Joke and Lia entered the venue, they became the center of attention of every guest at the party. The reporters, in particular, whipped their heads around as their eyes flashed. They looked like some kind of alarm system that caught an anomaly.

“Argh… I knew it…”

Joke could only keep his voice as low as possible as he murmured exasperatedly. He never liked being stared at before, and now with a “trouble” clutching to his arm, he drew the attention even further!

“Is that Queen?”

“It’s really her…”

“Hey, but how come she’s with that guy?”

The gossip started earlier than expected, and it made Joke stand frozen at the doorway to the party. The woman who came with him then pulled him to walk along with the most natural smile on her face.
