Caroline snuck a peek at Declan's departing figure while hiding behind the door to her room. She had a sneaky smile on the corner of her lips. She had suspected something fishy when she had seen Gerald returning home with a gloomy face and locking himself in the study. Her doubt intensified when she saw Declan coming after half an hour. She eavesdropped on them and overheard Gerald yell that Tina was pregnant.

She was unable to hear what Declan had said, and she didn't care about it. It was pointless to know what he was thinking. The news was so mind-blowing that she wanted to laugh aloud with joy. Finally, Declan's marriage to Yasmin would end, and Tina would become the daughter-in-law of this family. Then she would execute her next plan to trap Sean.

Caroline's smile gradually turned to a sinister one. She shut the door and walked over to the other side of the room as she phoned Tina.
