บท 36: Turn Out of Event
That night, after founding what he needed in Achlys' chamber, Rei walked out of her room towards the kitchen. At this hour, the kitchen should be empty of the royal maids. Just as he turned around the corridor, he saw someone who covered their face sneakily entered the kitchen. Rei quickly hided behind the wall.
Minutes after the intruder entered the royal kitchenette, Rei secretly approached the slightly ajar door and took a peek. There he saw someone added something into a teapot that usually used by the king. Then, the covered figure put the pot into its usual place. Rei swiftly hided behind a maple tree near the kitchen. When the figure stepped out, Rei followed suit behind that figure. Within a distance he notice the figure entered the Queen chamber.
"Something smell fishy."
After making sure the intruder didn't came out of the Queen chamber, Rei quickly returned towards the kitchen. He entered the kitchen and walked towards the teapot that has been hijacked. Usually, concubines would take turn in serving tea to the King. He have a hunch that tomorrow morning would be Achlys turn. Rei took the poisoned teapot and burned it into ash using his black flame.
Rei then materialized the exact same teapot. He smeared the sap of Valerian root in the inner wall of the pot. Still in Achlys form, Rei went outside the kitchen. When he stepped out, he heard a familiar tunes being played using strings instrument. Rei smiled. He hurriedly walked towards the source of the melody and found someone familiar was playing guqin.

Achlys retching a mouthful of blood, and in the brim of loosing her consciousness. Suddenly, a wisp of black smoke exited her mouth and forming a black shadow. Slowly, it transformed into a woman.
"Hello, My Queen."
Rei greeted the figure that was standing before him. Rei could felt his stabbed shoulder going paralyzed. Meanwhile Achlys was sat unconscious again.
"You really plan to kill your own apprentice?"
The Queen stood with arrogant. Her usually gentle manner replaced with malice.
"Of course I won't kill my own apprentice. She would be okay as long as she drink the medicine within these 24 hours."
Rei glance at Achlys. He felt bad to drag her into this political problem.
"And My Queen, poisoned a King would be sentenced to death."
"It is you who changed the teapot, right?"
The Queen spitted in anger.
"Of course, My Queen. I cannot let His Majesty to die just like that by your people, right?"
Rei answered calmly.
"So, this one put sleeping herbs into the teapot instead."
The Queen was enraged.
"Then you told this concubine to pretend sick, so that her morning assignment was changed with the kitchen maid?"
"Wrong. Don't you think it was this warlock, himself, who did the shape shifting?"
Rei sneered at the Queen.
"Now, why would My Queen revolt against the King?"
"Because you Celestial people have destroyed my Earthian Kingdom!"
Rei now understood the situation. The Queen was the people of Earthian. And what would be the Queen role in Earthian was still a question to him.
"You are from Earthian?"
"I am The Great Aradia, the renown sorcerer from Earthian."
Hearing her answer, Rei was surprised.
"Have you heard about me? Good. Because that would be the last thing you remember before I finish you here along with your people!"
"May I ask, it was also you who sent the stone giant to kill me in the forbidden city?"
Rei paused.
"Could it be at that time, you were also possessed Achlys to trapped me within the cage?"
The Queen snickered.
"You guess it well. Too bad now is too late! You and all the Celestial people will succumb under me!"
Aradia mocked the injured Rei.
"I am sure you already cannot feel your right arms. This poison of mine is deathly. if you are not treated within 5 hours, that poison would enter your blood system and attack you heart. Then a death would be unavoidable."
Rei pressed his paralyzed arm.
The situation was not good. Even without the wound, he was still lacking with the spell knowledges. Since he was not the owner of this warlock body. All this time, he only relied on his memories.
Just then, a flying sword attacked the sorcerer. She swiftly avoided the sudden assault.
"You!"
A white wolf jumped between Rei and the Earthian sorcerer
"How could you been here!"
"I'm following you." The wolf growled.
Seeing the help was coming, Rei leaned his back at the nearest trees. He nearly collapsed on the spot. He could feel his vision started to blur. Rei glance towards the unmoving Achlys that was on some distance away. Rei forced his body to move. He approached Achlys and put the antidote into her mouth. He sighed in relief.
'You would be okay soon.'
Rei sat down and stared at the wolf and Aradia. He somehow felt sleepy.
"The King would be happy to find the real traitor."
"You wish! I have killed that King of yours!"
"Who do you think have been killed?"
The Celestial troops suddenly appeared from within forests. The Queen was surrounded. The King himself opened his disguise as one of the unconscious guard.
"His Majesty? You.. you were here? How?"
"The Warlock has informed the wolf about your scheme. So, we arrange this counter attack plan, so that you could show yourself."
Seeing she was cornered, he commanded Sedit to attack the soldier. However, the wolf transformed into its gigantic form and crashed onto Sedit. The walking death cannot move his body now.
She knew she was overpowered. She glanced towards the nearly passed out Rei and made a move towards him. She jumped towards Rei. However, she was met with a cold dagger pierced through her heart. Dripped of bloods wetted Rei's black robe.
Achlys held the sword on her hand steadily. She mocked on the dying sorcerer.
"What do you think you are doing, witch. Do you think I don't know about you possessing me? I just let you stay in my body for awhile and take advantage for the future comeback."
Rei released his holding breath and felt relieved. Then everything turned black.
