"So what was your first trial like then? Did you need this demon's contract?" I asked with curiosity.

"No, I didn't need it, not for the summoner anyways." I was going to ask, but didn't as I'm sure she would explain later anyways. "And as for the trial, or the summoning more rather, it went well. I was summoned by this rat woman, who was apparently being cheated on by her husband, and she wanted me to suck him almost to death."

"I told her that this was my first time using it on a real living being and that this was my first ever summon so I might accidentally kill. She shrugged and just said it was fine, but asked me to at least try, to which I said I would. And I did, and I actually succeeded, although there wasn't much time left for him in this world, so I gave him the choice to give in to me and sign the contract to give his soul to me in order to live."
