A New Chance - A Zootopia Fanfiction

It was chaos, buildings were falling all around, fires were everywhere, animals were screaming and crying. But it was all background noise, as I stared numbly at the badly broken form of my best friend, Judy Hopps. I only realized then, that I loved her with all my heart. And now, she's gone.

"JUDY!!!!! Please, no, don't leave me! I love you, please...!", I screamed at the heavens, tears pooling out from my eyes, but when I opened them, I saw Zootopia's tallest building, falling towards me, and Judy. All I could do was cry, hugging her form to mine, one last time, as death approached.

"N... Nick...", in a split second, I looked down, a tear-filled face smiling up at me, her paw resting on my cheek, rubbing away the tears. "I.... I love-", and after a second of extreme pain, I didn't feel anything anymore.

I awoke. Shorter than I ever remember being, aside from my childhood. I thought this was some sort of sick joke, until I heard my mom's voice, one I haven't heard in fourteen years.

"Nick, honey, c'mon! We're going to move to Zootopia, just like you've always wanted!", Mom said in the distance, but all I could do was start crying. Remembering Judy, and before that, our last mission. It was a terrible, and massive failure.

I slowly came to terms with myself, now hoping this was real. If it was... maybe I had a redo. Carrots... Mom. All of our friends in the Police Force. Finnick, as annoying as he was at times, he was basically a brother to me.

I, determined to head towards a better future, ran down the familiar, yet unfamiliar steps, and into the embrace of my Mom, where she was confused why I was crying, but she calmed me. Wait for me Judy, I'll find you again.

{I decided I'll make this an official harem story, but the first, and main pairing will be Nick and Judy. If you are a fellow reader of the good sauce, you might be able to guess some of the characters that will be the future pairings. Hint, it's in the lewd sites. Don't worry either, the world's rules will be slightly different depending on animal species. I've seen male foxes haveing a 'harem' of a few female foxes before, so it's entirely plausible anyways}

I do not own Zootopia, or any pictures I use unless stated otherwise, I also only own the story and the personalities of the characters.

{P.S- I think people will now recognize what I'm basing the disaster of the story on, hopefully you do. Let's just say that things are definitely going to get a lot more gorey around Nick and Judy's Twenty Sixth birthdays}
