บท 110: Diamond's Brother

Cora blinked at the man. That was an awful lot of personal information to give a stranger. Yet she took the bait.

"Your tattoo?" she asked in confusion.

The man nodded and lowered his voice to a conspiratorial whisper. "I can't move my arms but I can feel them. I felt the needle and it made my fingers twitch. I've been practicing moving them for nearly a month and this morning I actually managed to grasp a pen that was placed in front of me!

"It's only with the one hand but that's more progress than I've made all this time. I'm here to show my wife. She's one of the physical therapists and she's going to freak! I'm waiting until she goes on break."

Cora was stunned. All of that because of a tattoo after so many years of hopelessness?

"That's some lucky charm," she said in disbelief.

"Right?!" the man exclaimed with a gleeful sparkle in his eyes. "I owe this miracle to my brother's soulmate."

"…were they the tattoo artist?"
