บท 296: An Unexpected Complication

Kreznik Ozarkian could not afford to get caught. He would surely face the death penalty this time!

If it was illegal, he had probably done it at some point. His rap sheet was longer than he was tall. What was he supposed to do though when his race had been hunted to near extinction after his home planet was lost an intergalactic war? 

The few K'rllians left had scattered to the winds to keep themselves safe. It wasn't too difficult considering they were shapeshifters with psychic powers. Staying one step ahead of those after them wasn't usually this difficult. The problem was that he had bitten off more than he could chew with this job. 

The client wanted a sacred relic belonging to a very strict, very militarized people and was paying top dollar for it. With that much money, Kreznik would be able to vanish for good and live a life of luxury on any planet of his choice.
