A gust of wind blew past Laeticia's face, and moments after that, silence reigned. She looked up, and her gaze locked with that of the angel that had just arrived in front of her.
Like other angels, this angel emitted a holy aura with a blinding glow. His armor was as impeccable as his physique.
Kimaris looked down and studied the girl before him through his blindfold. "You are the last of the Lord's purest believers."
"Yes. I'm Laeticia," Laeticia replied, getting back to her feet. She did not take her eyes of the angel, though, as doing so was against the teaching indoctrinated into her.
Laeticia was clad in her snow-white Saintess armor, and her golden braids were disheveled today. Her hair fluttered in the gentle breeze caused by the beating of Kimaris's wings, making her defiant. It was as though Laeticia and Kimaris were beings of equal standing.
[1] Oof. Now that’s an armor-piercing question. Reminded me of that South Korean movie “Parasite” (oh, you know the one!). No matter how kindly the rich and/or the powerful are, if they don’t genuinely endeavor to alleviate society’s base conditions, it’s still apathy.

So, the frequently-teased Jeanne Alter (I bet my physical copy of Fire Emblem Three Houses that she’s Baiyi — and Author-san — ‘s ultimate waifu!) has finally made an appearance. I saw that she’s immensely popular among Type-Moon fans, too. What do you guys think, True Believers? Like vanilla better or “Dark Laeticia”? I’m neutral on this, because, well… “Jeanne” is too edgelord for my taste. She’s fine during the battle, but hoo boy that interaction with Nydore and the Warrior? Could give me papercuts with that edge, man. I was trying to let the original edginess in the RAW shine because that’s her charm, right? But faithfully translating it to English somehow gave it extra cringiness… I hope the end product is satisfactory!
