บท 109: The Black White School

After saying their farewells to Chu Luo, Jiang Chen and his two companions left the Vermillion Bird City to look for the airship that they'd hidden.

On their way, Meng Hao and Wen Xin were discussing whether Chu Luo and her three apprentice sisters' reluctance to part with Jiang Chen was genuine or not.

"I mean, the spell changed how they felt about Jiang Chen, so their sadness at his departure must've been real," Meng Hao explained what he thought.

"There are no rivers without sources in this world, nor are there trees without roots. How could you say it was real?" Wen Xin didn't agree with Meng Hao. She was still in a state of shock after seeing the spell.

"But the spell is the source of their emotions. Jiang Chen, what will happen to them if the spell is removed?" Meng Hao said.

Jiang Chen frowned upon hearing their conversation and said, "Please stop talking about the spell."
