Tara Summer was overjoyed, hastily climbing out of bed. She got off the bed and tried to run up and embrace it.

"Roar ——" Suddenly, Bartholomew roared at her. Its pair of bell-like eyes glared at her, filled with alertness and caution.

"Bartholomew? You don't recognize me?" Tara was surprised. Although she felt a bit hurt by Bartholomew's unacquainted reaction towards her, the caution it displayed made her happy as it just proved how much the Dragon Beast King had matured.

Those pair of bell-like large eyes, seemingly with a soul, emanated wisdom.

"Roar, roar...." The Dragon Beast King cried out twice more.

Tara furrowed her brows but didn't move, quietly observing the small creature in front of her. Superficially it resembled Qilin, it was completely transparent, and faintly shimmered with scales under the refraction of the light, flickering in and out of sight.
