It was unlucky of them to have met the beast at such a place. No one recognizes this beast except for Gu Xijiu as it was an extremely rare beast.

Gu Xijiu noticed that its fingers were as sharp as knives when it rushed towards her. Gu Xijiu had no doubts that she would easily be shredded into pieces if she was caught by the Black Demon Eagle. 

She reacted very quickly and immediately teleported away to avoid being caught. She teleported behind the Black Demon Eagle and immediately swung her sword at its back.
