บท 705: Infinite Terror (Part 2) Prelude to the Storm (Chapter 7)

"Xuan, want to see the stars?"

Xuan slowly opened his eyes to find Zheng right in front of him, fidgeting with his fingers as if he was about to throw a punch. However, Xuan did something utterly bizarre; his eyes were slightly teary, he sat there, lost and bewildered, startling Zheng, who had come to confront him, along with Hong Lu and everyone else around into a dumbfounded silence.

"I didn't mean to hit you, oh, no, I mean I did, no, I didn't…" Zheng stammered, confused and scared, unable to grasp what he was even trying to say.

"I was dreaming."

Ignoring him, Xuan just pushed up his glasses and stood up, quietly making his way outside, with everyone curiously trailing behind him. The man, without uttering a word, just walked onto the deck and gazed up at the sky.

"...Stars?" Xuan murmured to himself.
