บท 466: Vile characters grinding against vile characters

Inside the pot, was a catty of simmering-hot pork shoulder. Its date coloured fatty skin bobbled slightly atop the snow white plate, with fresh green lettuce surrounding it; its visuals battering against any onlooker. When Sheyan poked a chunk of piping red meat into his mouth, he immediately felt it melting in his mouth. Its fatty skin was chewy from being slightly burnt. Sheyan couldn’t help ferociously scooping 2-3 spoons of rice into his mouth.

The long scallions at the bottom most layer of the plate had a distinct flavour, infiltrating into the succulent ooze of the fatty skin; further enhancing it with an intoxicating scent of condiments. The meaning of ‘fat without grease’ was totally infused within. The taste of the pork shoulders was distinctively authentic. Sheyan wolved down his meal ravenously, and even soaked his rice with the sumptuous gravy, before finishing his meal cleanly.
