Six weeks before Liora's 13th birthday, excitement and anxiety swept through the entire Carval household. Every corner of the house was filled with preparations for an event that would become one of the most important moments in the princess's life. A magnificent gown was being ordered, important guests had been invited, and the entire house was being transformed into a place of elegance and luxury. But sushi was not the only surprise Eldric was preparing. On another table, a chocolate mousse was in the process. He carefully mixed chocolate, cream, and eggs, creating a smooth texture that reminded him of the sweet flavors from his previous world—something not known in this kingdom. His culinary skills resulted in a mousse that was light and indulgent.

Not stopping there, Eldric prepared another, slightly more complicated dessert: mini quiches, small pies filled with eggs, cheese, and fresh vegetables. Though simple, the deliciousness and freshness were expected to wow the guests.

"Alright, time to ask for feedback," Eldric murmured to himself as he arranged the dishes on the large dining table. It was now time to present his creations to his family.

At the dining table, Myra and Lumi were already sitting and waiting. Myra smiled when she saw the dishes Eldric had prepared, while Lumi looked excited, her eyes sparkling as she gazed at the delicious food on the table.

Eldric began by serving the sushi. He carefully placed a small plate with pieces of sushi in front of them.

"Try this first," Eldric said with a hopeful smile.

Myra picked up a piece of sushi with a small spoon and slowly put it in her mouth. She chewed slowly, then her eyes widened in surprise.

"This... is incredible!" she exclaimed. "The fresh taste of the fish, and the rice is so soft. I never imagined something like this could exist in this world."

Lumi, unable to wait, immediately followed her mother's lead, happily biting into the sushi. Her expression was just as shocked. "This is so good! It's so fresh and a little tangy—I love it!"

Eldric felt relieved seeing their positive reactions. But he knew this was just the beginning.

Next, he served the chocolate mousse, a more complicated dish. Myra picked up a spoon and took a bite of the mousse, and as it melted on her tongue, her expression shifted to one of surprise and awe.

"This... tastes like heaven," Myra said softly. "It's so smooth, and the chocolate flavor is so rich. It's truly amazing!"

Lumi also tried it, and her face immediately lit up with joy. "I love it! It's so sweet and smooth. It feels like I'm eating a cloud!"

Eldric smiled with satisfaction, feeling proud of his work. The mousse wasn't just delicious, it truly brought them into a whole new taste experience.

Finally, he served the mini quiches. Myra and Lumi tasted them together, and this time, their smiles grew even wider.

"This is incredible too," Myra said as she took another piece. "The melted egg and cheese flavor is just perfect, and the fresh vegetables give it a perfect balance. It's so appetizing."

Lumi nodded in agreement, happily chewing. "I could eat this all day! It's so delicious!"

Eldric was delighted by all the positive reactions. It seemed his family was enjoying every dish he'd prepared, and he knew Liora's birthday celebration would be something very different—something everyone would remember.

But the surprises were not over. Lumi, unable to resist, scooped another spoonful of mousse into her mouth. This time, she not only enjoyed the mousse but had a little bit of chocolate spread on the corner of her mouth.

With sparkling eyes, Lumi looked at Eldric and Myra, and with her mouth full and chocolate smeared on her lips, she smiled wide and said, "I want more! This is so good!"

Seeing Lumi with chocolate all over her mouth made Eldric and Myra burst into laughter. They laughed together, enjoying the simple joy that came from the dishes they'd just tried. The laughter filled the air with warmth and happiness, signaling that the preparations for Liora's birthday would bring more cherished moments like this.
