"Aaahhhh!" Damon closed his window when the screams started to get louder. His eyes had been so dark, that they could not be differentiated from the darkness of the night.
"She is becoming more and more ruthless recently. This is the fifth girl this month." a knight standing behind the window complained.
"It had nothing to do with us, Roseshire. If my blind father had forgotten everything in his lust, then he had to bear the consequences sooner or later." The man wanted to say something. But he only bowed his head and looked away. "Remember Roseshire! We only have this one chance. If we fail, we all will die. The preparations should be perfect."
"Yes, my lord. I am aware."

"Umm" when Olivia woke up, she smiled. Because two arms were wrapped around her waist. Leo was sleeping to her left while Abi was sleeping to her right. Their soft and warm bodies gave her a feeling of security that even the wealth around her could not provide.
"I wonder if my sister would feel the same if she slept with them for a night." Olivia sighed! If only she knew how her sister could be saved. Even now she could not accuse her sister for their death.
She knew whatever her sister did was to keep them alive. She did not know when Oriana's goals had been twisted.
She stretched her body when the rays of the sun danced over her face. How good it feels to be alive! To feel this warmth and coldness. To breathe! Oh god! Thank you for this chance.
Olivia stood up and washed herself. She had a lot to do. Even if she could not earn the favor of the demon, she should have some money. Money could save them from starving if they have to resort to running away.
Money! Money! She needed an investment to earn money. Her mind started to wander. There must be something in her past that could help her.
Land deeds! Business that was going to flourish! Cakes that she knew how to bake! But how could she earn money through them?
"All of them needed a starting investment. And no one would give me money!" money! Wait, the second prince would give her money when he would reject her.
But for that, she had to bear all that humiliation again and leave the kids behind! Not only that, she would not get the chance to meet Damon.
"You are here!" When she walked out of the room, she found Agatha looking around. A look of relief washed over face as her shoulders slumped. "Why were you not in your room, my lady?"
"I just wanted to make sure that the kids are going to their classes on time. It is one of my duties." Olivia started walking. Agatha followed her closely as if she was searching for something. "Is there anything you need?"
"Nothing, I am just assisting you since you look exhausted." Olivia raised a brow. A scene flashed in front of her eyes when she had asked for help from Agatha in the past. Agatha had always scorned and told her that she was already getting the chance to live in such a large palace and enjoying the delicacies in exchange for working as a nanny for the kids.
She should be grateful! Yet she was complaining that the work was too much. The look of disdain in her eyes was so frustrating. Yet, she was here offering her help when she did not have any special task to begin with! Why? What has changed?
"I have no.. do you really want to help me, Agatha?" Olivis stopped midway. Her eyes glittered suddenly. Agatha felt a strange unease in her heart. Yet, she had to keep an eye on this girl no matter what. So she nodded.
"Great!" Olivia clapped. After instructing maids about the kids breakfast, she walked to her room followed closely by Agatha. Agatha looked around, confused.
"What kind of help.." Agatha paused. Her eyes widened. "What are you doing?"
Olivia did not stop even after hearing the shock in Agatha's voice. She took out all the curtains of her room, pulled the bedsheet and took out all the dresses from her closet.
"You know, I have been planning to wash all of them for a long time. But in the winter when the warm sun was so scarce, I could not bring myself to do this hard work. But Agatha, you have solved all my issues." After tying everything under a bedsheet, Olivia pulled the bundle on her shoulders and walked to Agatha.
Agatha scowled. She wanted to leave already. Yet her feet could not move.
"From last night, you have been so kind to me, Agatha. You are like my family too. Thank you." Agatha's stomach churned. If she would run away now, Olivia would not let her follow her. What if she met a lover in her absence. Oriana would be furious.
"It is not too much right?" Looking at Olivia biting her lips with worry, Agatha could only shake her head.
"Not at all. I am good at laundry. I will help you." the voice was forced that even a blind could see it.
"I know I can depend on you." Olivia hugged Agatha. A wild and vicious grin on her face but it vanished the moment she let go of Agatha's arms.
They took the heavy laundry to the wash area near the river. It was at the backside of the garden.
"Let's start!" Olivia rubbed her hands with excitement but Agatha just shifts at her place. It had been a long time since she had done any chores. Since Oriana had chosen her as her personal maid, except making her hair or choosing her jewels, she had done nothing.
In the end, she could not bring herself to wash Olivia's dirty clothes.
"Ah, I suddenly remembered that her grace had asked me to deliver a letter. You start, I will join you soon."
