Josephine placed herself between the two men. While she didn't want Xavier to marry just anyone, it came as a surprise Xavier even considered marriage. "Nathaniel, this is the first time we have heard about him wanting to marry. We should hear him out first. I'm sure there's a reasonable explanation."

It wasn't that long ago Josephine recalled Xavier was convinced he would go into a deep slumber, now he was getting married? 

Josephine wanted to thank Selene if she was the reason behind the change but at the same time, she understood her husband's concerns. Xavier had to make a smart pick for a wife. "Last I heard, she is married. There must be another Selene. Is it Mary's daughter?"
