A large group of people dressed in black uniform bullet Proof vests with police written in bold white text on the front had gathered in front of a huge skyscraper.
A yellow holographic police tape circling around the building was proof that a crime had taken place inside the building and the place was now off limits.
A large crowd stood outside the yellow line, having been attracted by the gathering of the police and the yellow tapes. Wherever this two appeared together it meant that something huge had taken place.
Half of the crowd gathered are reporters who had arrived here after getting info from their sources. They went around the crime questioning the bystanders about the situation and trying to gather information.
They wanted to interview the police officers on the scene as well but since anyone without authority or permission was forbidden to enter within fourteen feet of the building, they couldn't go past the yellow line.
Even the airspace around the building was restricted as police cars patrolled around it.
Whenever they tried to signal a police officer over, they were completely ignored.
However, most of their attention was on a man standing a short distance away from the crime scene watching the police work with a fierce gaze.
He was a well build middle aged man with short haired hair stood outside the crime scene watching the ongoing investigation with a frown on his face. Unlike the other police officers he didn't have on a uniform rather he was wearing a monkey suit with a black trench coat over it. His right arm was a cybernetic limb.
From the look of reverence and respect that appeared on the police officers and the citizens eyes every time they looked at him, one could tell that his status was very high among the people. But that wasn't surprising considering that he was the Chief officer charge of this region.
Everyone in the city knows him. He was known as the Ford the iron fist. His nickname didn't come from his cybernetic right arm but from the fact that he protected the city with an Iron grip.
All the criminals in the city are afraid of him. It could be said that it was because of him that the city hadn't been run completely to the ground by the underworld. However only the higher ups knew that the real reason why Ford was so feared was because he used to be one of the leaders of the underworld before he switched sides for unknown reasons. So he knows a lot of the underworld secrets
Ford looked up at the majestic skyscraper in the middle of the yellow tape which reached into the clouds. In this era where architecture had evolved beyond the norm, buildings ratings have now gone past the regular five star. Now not only commercial buildings are given ratings but other buildings as well.
The more the rating of the buildings the higher the prestige of the person who owns it or those who reside in it.
And this building is a seven star building, one of the highest rated building in the city, Sebastian Grand Entertain, named after it owner. It was a multipurpose building that served as a casino, a bar, an hotel and a restaurant and others. It was created mainly for the purpose of entertainment.
This kind of buildings were expensive to build, so the wealth of it owner was obvious to see.
But what most didn't know was that all of this was only a front to deceive the general public.
As a former Don of the underworld he was privy to information that not everyone knew about and as such he knew that the owner of this building was an international smuggler and trafficker.
Sebastian helps people to import illegal goods that have been banned by the government. He was the go to guy If you wanted anything that doesn't exist on the market he'll get it for you. In this era where the government monitors the market like a hawk, the underworld was the best place to go to avoid prying eyes.
Hence why he was also very popular in the underworld, everyone knew and respected him. Hell, the reason why Ford hadn't arrested him was because he never did anything to harm anyone. He did this things because people were afraid to do it themselves.
There was even a saying that if Sebastian couldn't find it then it probably doesn't exist. People even started to believe that he was omniscient.
Ford could even say that he was the most passionate man he knew, and that was said a lot.
So why was his hotel attacked?
