As he suggested, Togawa scrolled down.
"So, what do you think?" Kamigawa asked.
"They're very professional."
She studied his content carefully and was impressed—it made sense how he'd gained so many followers.
"But there's a limit to that kind of review," Kamigawa continued with the speech he'd prepared. "Fan growth has already slowed. There are only so many places around here to recommend. And since I still have school, I can't travel all over the country to review other locations. That's a constraint."
"And snack reviews only go so far; there aren't many new ways to approach them."
"Even if I just maintain things as they are, I won't lose followers, but growth will be nearly impossible. There's only so much demand; to reach a larger audience, I need to branch out."
"That's why I decided to add a new category—cosmetic reviews—and I want you to do it."
"Cosmetics? I don't know much about that."
While she couldn't deny his reasoning, the idea of reviewing cosmetics seemed daunting.
"I wouldn't rush to say no." Kamigawa waved off her hesitation. "As someone who once lived a privileged life, you've likely used some high-end brands, right?"
"Even if you're not big on makeup, you probably had some basic skincare routines."
"You're not wrong, but whether those were high-end brands… I can't say." Togawa responded vaguely.

As he said this, Kamigawa looked at her face and hands thoughtfully.
He had to admit: Togawa was stunning.
Her fair skin left him wondering if it was her natural complexion or careful maintenance—or perhaps both.

"See? That's why it has to be you." Kamigawa's tone was calm and composed. "As someone who once used products most people can't afford and now uses more ordinary ones, you have a unique perspective."
"That makes you the ideal person for cosmetics and skincare reviews."
"For the average girl, a review from someone who grew up using luxurious products would be incredibly persuasive."
"This would open a whole new category. True heiresses wouldn't bother with such a thing, and an ordinary person could never fake it."
"You're perfect for this role, incredibly valuable."
Togawa frowned. "That's pretty rude."
"Sorry, I may have worded that poorly," Kamigawa apologized quickly, almost as if he'd anticipated her reaction.
"Take some time to think it over. The pay will more than meet your expectations. And for any cosmetics endorsements, we can negotiate a fair profit share," he said, placing a contract on the piano.
"I came prepared. Feel free to look it over."
Returning his phone, Togawa picked up the contract.
As she read through the well-drafted terms, she came to a realization.
"So, you were never really interested in having me join the band. You just wanted me for your Instagram from the start."
"No, I genuinely wanted you in the band," Kamigawa countered. "But since you turned that down, I had to settle for inviting you to help with my Instagram."
"This is a rare opportunity, so I wasn't going to miss my chance to ask you."

Togawa fell silent and read through the contract.
"I think this could be mutually beneficial," Kamigawa continued, clearly focused on the potential profits. "You'd be making far more than any part-time job, and I'd gain followers and revenue. We'd be helping each other."
He was persistent, as though driven purely by money.
"I need some time to think about it."
Togawa neither accepted nor refused.
Indeed, working with him would be mutually beneficial.
For her, it was a far easier job than customer service, and it paid more.
And she could accept the extra earnings guilt-free, as she'd be offering her knowledge and reviews.
Though she didn't want to admit it, he was right—she was valuable.
