บท 19: ZHU ZHUQING
As Tian Xing closed his status panel, he made his way back to the home he had crafted high in the trees of the forest. He had set up protective arrays to keep soul beasts at bay, ensuring his sanctuary was safe.
Upon nearing his tree house, he sensed a human presence nearby. With a swift leap, he approached cautiously, peering through the bushes. To his shock, he discovered an injured girl slumped against the trunk of a tree. Her left hand bore a deep claw mark, blood seeping from the wound.
Rushing to her side, he checked her condition and felt a wave of relief wash over him when he realized she was merely unconscious from fatigue and blood loss. Without hesitation, he scooped her up in his arms and leaped back to his home, landing gracefully at his door. Using his spiritual power, he opened the door and carried her inside, gently placing her on the bed.
Tian Xing placed his hand over her injured arm, channeling green energy into her body, as the energy worked to heal her wounds completely.
As he looked at the girl, he was struck by her beauty—long black hair, soft white skin, and a delicate face. She appeared to be around his age, and there was something familiar about her.
After a moment of contemplation, he decided to wait until she awoke to ask her questions. With that thought in mind, he headed to the kitchen to prepare something to eat for both of them, hoping to be ready when she regained consciousness.
As Tian Xing was cooking, the girl stirred, slowly opening her eyes. She found herself in an unfamiliar room, a strange, wooden roof overhead. She sat up abruptly, fear gripping her heart as she checked her body. To her immense relief, she was unharmed, and her injury had completely vanished.
Just as she was trying to make sense of her situation, Tian Xing entered the room, carrying a tray laden with food. He smiled warmly at her, his eyes twinkling.
"Oh, you're awake," he said, his voice a pleasant melody. He walked towards a table, setting down the food.
The girl, still dazed, turned her gaze towards him. She was instantly captivated by his handsome features, her heart skipping a beat.
Tian Xing, noticing her silence and the way she was staring at him, asked with concern, "Are you okay?"
She blushed, shaking her head to clear her thoughts. "Oh, I'm fine," she replied, her voice soft. "Thank you for helping me."
"It's okay," he said, gesturing towards the food. "Here, come eat something. It will help you regain your energy."
Looking at him, she got up from the bed and walked towards the table, starting to eat the food.
"Thanks for the food," she said with a smile, looking at him. Tian Xing was captivated by her smile.
"So, what's your name, and what are you doing in the forest? Why were you injured?" he asked her.
Looking back at him, she was quiet for a moment before speaking. "Hello, my name is Zhu Zhuqing. As for what I'm doing in the forest and how I got injured, I can't tell you right now."
As Tian Xing heard her name, he was shocked. "What is she doing here?" he thought.
"Well, Zhu Zhuqing, no problem if you don't want to say," he said with a smile. "By the way, my name is Tian Xing." He picked up the empty dishes and walked towards the kitchen.
