Evelina didn't hesitate, her voice clear and precise. "Transparency. The partnership will only succeed if both sides are honest about their objectives and resources. My father thrives on deception, but if he knows someone's watching closely, he'll think twice before pulling his usual tricks."

Leone's smirk faded, replaced by a look of mild surprise. She's sharper than I thought. He steepled his fingers, his gaze narrowing. "And how would you enforce that transparency? Your father isn't exactly known for his compliance."
