Chapter 21: The Wedding Next Week

Laura POV

I woke up to see Granny, I had been in bed ever since I had that memory flash, I didn't know how but I slept off. I had gone downstairs to watch the TV in order to kill boredom of being in the house all day and do nothing than take naps and watch the TV.

I saw her in the sitting room watching the TV, Arianna was beside her as she sat close to her like a little kid who's her favorite. Xavier was just walking downstairs so I assume she just came.

"Granny welcome" I greeted with a nervous smile. I had no idea how I should have done the greetings.

She smiled widely at me and I smiled back.

Xavier didn't offer any greetings but just sat down opposite her, his eyes on her as she stared back but gave little attention to his glare which I know meant more than it met the eyes.
