As quickly as the clash had started, it was over. Rikan lay sprawled on the ground, his sword skittering a few feet away, his face a mixture of disbelief and embarrassment. Liria had barely broken a sweat. She gave a faint nod, almost a pitying gesture, before turning her attention to her System, hoping for an influx of experience to make up for the morning ordeal.

Liria blinked. "Wait… one experience?" she thought, her inner voice thick with confusion. She'd received more than that from dispatching the smallest forest creatures. Even the least menacing rabbit had given her a minimum of ten. She glanced down at Rikan, her disbelief quickly morphing into amused incredulity.

"[Use Observation, please,]" she thought, a smirk curling at her lips.
