'Why did I make that bet' I knew I had made a grand mistake that had come back to bite me in the ass.
I had never believed for a second that I would lose which is why I didn't care about agreeing to Leon's ten requests. Yet I had lost and could do nothing but uphold my end of the bet even if I dreaded ever second of it, And so here I was walking silently down the hall with my fingers entangled with Aria's.
The young princess walked steadily by my side wearing a silky white robe that reached to her lower thighs. Her delicate bare feet slid across the floor although I couldn't help but notice the complicated expression on her face, It looked like a mixture of contemplation and determination.
The closer we got to Leon's room the more I subconsciously squeezed Aria's hand. I felt disgusted as if I was delivering a tasty meal to that bastards doorstep. Knowing what was going to happen filled my heart with pain but eventually we came to our destination in the desolate and dark hallways.
"H~husband…" Aria glanced up at me with a shaky tone as we stood in front of the intimidating door.
"Are you sure you want me to….train with that man?" She asked me with obvious reluctance making my heart twist even more than it already was.
'…' I wanted to say no more than anything but I could only keep my expression passive while nodding.
"…Yes" I saw whatever hope that was left in Aria's eyes disappear as she stared at me silently.
"I~I understand" She nodded with a look of determination quickly appearing as if she was ready to fight a war.
'….' Ella had that same expression during her first time and it was nowhere to be seen by the time they were done.
"…Are you ready?" I asked with a heavy voice wanting to get this horrible situation over as soon as possible.
"Yes" Aria glanced up at me with furrowed eyebrows and squeezed my hand as if gesturing that she was prepared.
I stared at her while feeling a whirlpool of emotions crashing around my chest. I used to think Aria was quite annoying and would constantly try to avoid her in the past. Back then she was nothing but the bratty princess who was obsessed with me, Yet now I couldn't deny that I loved her even if she was much younger.
'….' I closed my eyes for a split second before finally reaching up and knocking softly on the door in front.
Knock
Knock
My heart skipped a beat each time my fist hit the wood as if telling me not to keep going. Aria's hand squeezed mine even tighter and i knew that even if she wasn't showing it she was very nervous. Neither of us got a lot of time to think though as i heard the sound of footsteps on the other side.
"Hero" The door swung open and I was greeted to the view of the man who had defiled almost all of the women I loved.
"You're here" Leon smiled with what seemed like anticipation in his expression before his eyes slid down to Aria.
"Princess" He bowed his head but it was very shallow leaving Aria to frown in what seemed like annoyance.
"Please come in" Leon didn't seem to care though as he stepped to the side inviting us into the room.
"…." I hesitated but stepped forward with Aria following behind with much smaller steps than normal.
"Good job hero" Leon spoke low enough that only I could hear and I grit my teeth at his condescending tone.
"I'm sure you've already been informed about my skill princess?" He closed the door behind us and spoke in an almost business like manner.
"…Yes" Aria looked around the room with scrutinizing eyes before answering not bothering to hide her disgust.
"Good then there's nothing to go over" Leon was clearly exited as he walked forward eyeing the petite princess like she was his prey.
'….' And I was the fool who had delivered a rabbit right into the wolfs claws.
"I have agreed to use your skill commoner but….I have a condition" Aria met Leon's eyes not noticing his lecherous gaze and her tone naturally spoke down to him.
"And what is it?" Leon's eye twitched obviously bothered but he kept his calm with a small smile.
