บท 19: Basic Dungeon
A bright flash of purple light covered his vision as his body disappeared.
He opened his eyes to see himself in a 3 by 7 by 7 meter hallway of brick walls. The ones on the floor emitted a dim green light.
"This is the dungeon I guess. Has its own lights. I don't even have a map to use. They could have at least gave me one."
The little bit annoyed Klyde equipped Light of Kuruu and walked along the hallway. The room at the end of the hallway seemed to be large 7 by 7 by 7 meter empty room, about with nothing in it.
Seeing no threats, Klyde entered the room but as soon as he entered, the exits were sealed off. With a green glow a monster spawned in front of him.
The monster was a humanoid figure with blue skin and ragged torn clothing. It was so slim with little muscle that you could even see it's bones. It's eyes glowed blue and it wielded a sword of ice.

"Its level is higher than mine. I'm not sure if the system takes into account the gear I have, but I'm the equivalent of a level 70."
Klyde readied his katana as the stray charged at him. The stray raised its sword to attack but he easily evaded the attack and struck it from behind.

'That attack had a decent amount of power, but it's speed is very low. Or at least lower than mine.'
He tried to lower the blade down but the the stray held it in place. Their strength was equal.
"Well, aren't you a resilient one. I guess both our strength stat is 50."
'The strength stat from my Katana doesn't carry over to my actual strength so this might just be a stalemate. Unless…'
Klyde let go of the Katana, jumping back and equipped his other Katana, Shadow of Kuruu. He charged at the stay and the blade of his Katana glowed purple. Shadow Mark. He slashed the stay diagonally and delt 200 damage. 5 black spikes appeared and struck the stray, killing it.

"200 Exp? Guess it was the same level as the white frost wolves. For 200 Mana, this ability is a bit broken. I should buy a new weapon soon though, a one side blade makes it hard to slice opponents in half."
Klyde picked up his other Katana and put both back in their sheaths. He then attached the sheaths to the belt of his tuic.
"Looks good enough, now I can easily access these."
The wall behind and in front of him blocking the paths disappeared and he left the room to the hallway.
He arrived at an empty room with a chest at the centre. The chest was made of dark wood and had bronze frames. In the room were also three paths. One on each side of the room.
Klyde opened the chest to find a plain metal sword and a health potion. He took both items and put them in his inventory.
"The sword is useless so I'll just sell it later. Now…Three paths. Which should I take first? Hmm…"
Klyde thought for a while and in the end chose the path to his right.
As he entered the room it closed just like the one before. Three monsters spawned in the room. These monsters were also humanoid but had large hands with sharp claws. Their backs had green spikes and were hunched back. Their skin was a dark green and their teeth were very sharp.

"Great, five of them. God, if only I knew how to duel wielded."
Klyde equipped Light of Kuruu.
'Im low on mana so I can't rely on my skills. Magic is out as well, which leaves close combat. They don't use magic so they focus on speed and strength. This is a tough one.'
Klyde held his sword in a defensive position, waiting for them to strike. The moment he blinked the blurkins were right next to him. One punched him in the stomach and sent him flying, hitting the sealing with his back.

Another one came in front of him and punched him in the stomach repeatedly while he was still against the wall.

He held shadow of Kuruu on his other hand and used shadow warp. He appeared on the sealing in the shadow of one of the blurkins. He stayed upright as if gravity was reversed for him.

'After my mana updated my conditions changed. 20% mana decreased my stats by 25%. 10% mana will half my stats and make eat away my health by 10%. 5% eat away 40% of my health. So I could use a spell and when I get to 20% I'll use a mana potion. But that's to risky considering their speed.'

Klyde opened his inventory and drank both a regener potion and a mana potion.

He sheathed his light Katana and dropped down to the floor. The blurkins all dashed at him to attack him and he managed to all three with his sword. Using Shadow Mark he slashed the three, Dealing 250 damage and the shadow spikes finish them off.

"What do you mean the shop is locked! I just unlocked it! First Enchantment, now berserk! You've got to be kidding me!"
Klyde took a deep breath and opened his stats menu.

"My stats increased by 2 and not by 1. Is this because of the whole level 10 thing? Last time I reached level 5 I got like 5? 10? Whatever, I just got extra points. I guess I'll get extra when I reach level 15."
A grin spread across Klyde's face as she realised this. He may get 10 or even 15 points after leveling, making him want to fight the next monster faster.
As he entered the 3 blurkins spawned as well a two large grey golems.
